Hotel Opera Garni is easy to find in the centre of Belgrade. Bus stops for Republic Square are a nearby and there is a public car park about 150 metres away. It is an easy walk to many sites including central shopping, the waterside, restaurants and Belgrade Fortress. An old building has been transformed inside to give a modern boutique hotel with large rooms. Room and shower room were clean with air-conditioning and heating working well. There was no disturbance from noise despite the central location on a busy street on the edge of Skadarlija. Then hotel contains a bar and restaurant, but these were closed at the time of my visit, as were all Belgrade restaurants, due to Covid pandemic regulations. There are several takeaways within 100m. Breakfast including cooked items, fruit and pastries with plenty of tea and coffee available. Reception and breakfast room staff were helpful and always had a smile. The efficient airport transfer was easily arranged by reception.

I do not recommend this accommodation because I had a very bad experience and faced great unprofessionalism. I have traveled a lot, such inconveniences have never happened to me by the accommodation management.

This hotel was great, well located just out of the busier areas and easy to find. There was some construction works taking place on the ground floor when we arrived but this did not impact us in any way. The people at reception were really friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, comfortable and just ideal really! I would recommend.

This is the fourth time I have stayed at Hotel Opera and it seems to get better each time. The hotel is conveniently located alongside the main shopping district in the city center and close to nearby attractions such as the old fortress and republic square. The hotel staff are superb, with nothing being too much of a hassle for them. From arranging Taxi's and tours, to recommendations of restaurants and nightlife, they'll make you feel like you're right at home. The hotel rooms have also recently been renovated and are both spacious and modern. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Belgrade!
