We had some misfortunes but Mario was always online and helpful! He also showed us around to the pijaca secrets <3 . The place is Super Extra Clean, quiet, friendly, stylish, close to the center and in the unfortunate event of a rainy evening, you may as well wander the flat. It is a lovely museum itself!
I had booked this spot on the advice of Lonely Planet for part of my stay in Belgrade and was glad I did. My other accommodation was the San Art Floating Hotel on the other side of the river so these two choices allowed me to explore different parts of the city(with a quick hop to Novi Sad in between).
It is definitely quirky, being called a Museum hotel. But I found it fun. It had a comfy bed, perfect wifi, hot water and a little kitchenette for making meals. Perfect for one person, maybe two.
I found the communication with the owner positive and with a quick response.
it is an apartment located very close to Skadarlja where all nice bars and restaurants you can find. It has two bedrooms, living room, small kitchenette and bathroom. It is clean, beds are comfortable, and the host is friendly and helpful. There is wifi, but no TV.
The furniture in the apartment, except of beds, are old as the idea of the place is to show how people used to live in former Jugoslavia. It may be interesting for many tourists, for me it was rather disturbing as I come from Poland, so I have more or less similar experience from Polish apartments in the 80s. It is also quite expensive as for the standard of the place, especially when there were only 2 of us staying.
I did not choose the place myself, it was my friend's choice, younger than me. It was her second time there, and she really enjoyed.

prijatno mesto ,blizina svih destinacija u gradu.. sve na peske .. u srcu skadarlije i silikonske doline.Preko puta je pijaca a trg republike na 100 metara pristojno sredjeno, spojeno i moderno i nostalgicno..

I made an unfortunate mistake of booking a room here for a weekend getaway. However I realized during the exchange with the owner – Mario Milakovic – that he was very rude and that I wouldn’t feel safe or comfortable staying at his BnB. As a result, I decided to cancel my booking – 10 days in advance to the date of booking. Mario then decided that he had a no refunds policy which is to date not on their website. If I had booked through a booking site such as hostelbookers or Airbnb I would have got all or much of my money back. I also unfortunately made the mistake of booking through Paypal which does not cover cancellation of room bookings due to rude and threatening owners. Overall, I am so glad that I cancelled and went with a different and really lovely, hospitable BnB in Belgrade, despite losing my money with Yugodom... A few lessons learned through my experience with Yugodom: a) Do not stay at Yugodom b) When booking with them, Mario will say that the only way to book with them is to do a direct bank transfer or to use Paypal (this is not true-they are on other booking sites). Bank transfer is obviously not a good idea but don’t do the second either, protect your money from scammers like him and go with Airbnb or other trusted sites with clear cancellation policies and processes. Mario is rude and aggressive and freely lies. I lost Euro 170 even though I cancelled 10 days in advance and even though I cancelled because they are rude and aggressive!…
