We loved our stay here. Travelling with kids its important for us, that we all feel at home. At the San Art we most certainly did. Its the way they run the place with personality, that makes it so easy to love it. Even the cat of the house gets part of your stay here. Wonderfull.

A special place with first-class hospitality service. The staff are so welcoming, they help wherever they can and go above and beyond to make your stay special. The location is beautiful, the room was very clean and the lounge area has got real character. We will never forget the lovely long chat we had one evening with the night manager. Watch out though, you may fall in love with the ginger cat that roams the halls :'). Thank you once again for the unforgettable stay and the tasty treats you gave us on our departure! :)

San Art Floating Hostel is an amazing relaxed hostel floating on the convergence of the Sava and Danube rivers. The host, Ivana, gives a wonderful friendly greeting and a welcome drink on the cool and breezy pontoon. Ivana is so helpful in recommending places to eat, things to see, organising taxis (and telling you how NOT to get ripped off!) The room was clean and comfortable and the air con was fantastic and most welcome. Shower head mount was broken so had to be hand-held. Free breakfast on the cool terrace was great - basic but freshly cooked and of a good quality. It's a great place to pop in and grab a drink and a snack even if you're not resident. We have been back once already! Highly recommend

I felt at home. The hostel is lovely and set in a wonderful park, floating on the Danube. The owner and the staff welcome you and treat you like a queen. It is peaceful and you can rest after a busy day in the city. Local buses stop nearby.

So I can’t state how amazing San Art is. Floating on the Danube perfectly situated with a nice 20 min walk to town or the same the other direction to Zemun ( which you will want to go ). Super quiet, great AC in the on suite rooms. Great Breakfast on the river. All the staff are amazing especially Sasha the owner a real people’s person! It’s not a hostel but a relaxed hotel and great value at that. Look no further trust me. Even the little touches, he knew we had a 5 hour drive ahead of us and sent us on our way with a bottle of iced water.

We stopped here for 2 nights last week and loved it. The owner gave us a free drink on arrival and we sat and watched the ducks on the river. The rooms are basic but they were suitable for us. There wasn’t any pegs to hang any clothes up so we used the pole the curtains were on and the chair. The air con was very good and our room was freezing to come back to which we needed after the temperature outside. The breakfast was lovely and the first day we had egg, bread, meats, salad and cheese and the second day we had the same but no bread and instead had like a fired bread with cheese on and some mini pastries. I did prefer the first day but that’s only my preference. The hostel is around 5 minutes away from a bus stop and we regularly took the bus into the centre which was 3 stops and we also went to Zemun which was 4 stops. The hostel is really good at giving you details. Both nights we walked home from the centre, calling for a couple of drinks and it takes around 30-35 minutes to do this. One thing we regret not doing is taking insect repellent because with it being on water we both not bit loads whilst having drinks on the river.
