A wonderful throwback in time, Hotel Moskva is the oldest hotel in Belgrade, the building retains its historical charm. The hotel is centrally located in old Belgrade and within walking distance of all the major sites of old town. The staff at the front desk were attentive and I received great service from them. The breakfast area feels grand though the breakfast buffet itself is rather basic. Breakfast starts 0630; I was there for breakfast just after and the hot breakfast items, such as scrambles eggs, sausages… been already lukewarm or cold in the chafing dish. The hotel could have an omelette freshly cooked at existing cooking station. Lukewarm water for tea coming from a chafing dish, I would say that is unacceptable by all means. My fourth time staying here, and I wouldn’t contemplate staying anywhere else in Belgrade. Iconic is a very overused word but it certainly applies to Hotel Moskva. Great history, style, design and ambience especially as the cafe bar is open to non-residents. It’s one of those hotels that makes you want to have a reason to go back.

A beautiful early twentieth century building, ornate and full of history. The red carpet that leads to the front entrance isn't in any way grandiose as the list of patrons is very long and esteemed. We enjoyed a two-course meal under the Christmas tree whilst being entertained with live classical music played expertly on the grand piano - how civilised. Great food, extremely well priced in a great setting with superb service.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Moskva on two different days in November. The hotel has a wonderful old world European style, while being completely well cared for, with excellent modern marble bathrooms and comfortable clean rooms. Both rooms we had were fantastic. The front desk staff at check in and check out were some of the best hotel people I ever encountered. Happy, informative, and upbeat. We went twice to the Moskva Cafe in the lobby with it's old world charm. Both nights there was excellent music played on the grand piano. The servers were excellent and attentive. An overall excellent place that I highly recommend and can't wait to visit again.

Myself and my husband stayed at The Hotel Moskva for 1 week on our first ever visit to Serbia. From the minute we pulled up outside I loved it and it got better as we went in. The staff were very efficient and friendly and we were quickly in our room we had upgraded the room and it was split over two levels. We really enjoyed having a separate area to relax and watch tv before we went to bed. The hotel is in a perfect location to see all the sights in Belgrade. This will become our go to hotel every time we visit Belgrade I don’t have anything negative to say at all we had an amazing week in Belgrade and will definitely be back.

This is a historic hotel and the rooms have character. In order to access my room from the corridor, I had to climb seven steps. The light in the alcove was not working. I complained to the front desk and the next day it was fixed. The location is central and the breakfast buffet had an excellent variety. I stayed for two nights and there were different items at breakfast each day, which provides more variety.

Upon entering Hotel Moskva, one immediately is transported to another time in history. This hotel, built by King Alexander I, is quite beautiful. The rooms are of a decent size and their furnishings reflect another era.... therefore if you want a modern hotel, do not stay here. The beds are extremely comfortable, linens clean. I stayed in two rooms as I left for a few days travel. The first room's bathroom was spacious, with a deep, large tub which was wonderful (some elderly and those with mobility issues might find in difficult to enter and exit the bathtub, thus ask for a room with a shower). The second room had a nice size shower. One can hear one's neighbors if they are being loud, but this is not a party hotel, whereby I found that it was mostly quiet during my 9…

The historic Hotel Moskva is perfectly located in Old Town Belgrade. Knez Mihailova, Kalmegdan, St. Sava's, the Tesla Museum, and Skadarlija are all in easy walking distance from the hotel. The rooms are small (if you have a family, bump up to the two-level Family Duplex room) but luxurious. The public settings are gorgeous and comfortable. The breakfast buffet combines German, Serbian, and American favorites in tremendous portions. The lounge and accompanying restaurant take advantage of this perfect setting. Have a drink in the outdoor cafe and just watch Belgrade pass by. Don't miss the exquisite pastries. We only were at the coffee bar. We had high expectations but were disappointed. We wanted hot chocolate but they didn't have. I asked for a wet wipe to clean my hands and they also didn't have that. The Moskva snit cake wasn't bad. A coffee bar not to have hot chocolate is rare.

We actually do offer hot chocolate in our cafe, simply at that moment the machine was out of service. We truly apologize for this inconvenience. This is a hotel with a great location near pedestrian shopping and the fortress. The breakfast is excellent with meat, eggs, cheese, breads, lunch meats, eggs, vegetables, etc. The staff was helpful. The only downside is because it’s an old hotel the rooms are smaller. Just be prepared. Very elegant and traditional.
