Anyone that would complain about this place needs to sleep in a tent in the rain. It’s very simple, but the rooms are big enough, nice clean, and cozy, with everything a person might want for a multi-day stay. For under $30, as a single, it doesn’t get any cheaper for a nice accommodation. The location is fantastic, walking distance to Republic Square and many attractions, and all sorts of transportation. Restaurant next-door, which is part of hotel, served a very delicious omelette for breakfast. Young lady at the front desk, whose name I asked for and then forgot, sorry, was delightful, very friendly and made my stay more enjoyable. See photo. For the money, this place gets an A+.

For the room itself would give it a 4 but price was good, location is right in town center and staff went the extra mile everything under 5 star would not be fair. Will be coming back with family next time.

I arrived at the airport and the hotel arranged for my ride which was good. Some places send you to 3rd party transit sites, but this one they arranged with a driver that lives across the street. Hotel was easy to check into and easy to spot from the outside as it fronts a restaurant. Staff was also very helpful and polite. Rooms were at the back and so you do have to walk through the outside part of the restaurant when going to your rooms which you just have to watch for the wait staff if they are carrying a plate of food and such and you do have to pass by some tables, but nothing to worry about. The room I had had lots of room and contained a refrigerator, a safe (which mine was broken I think, as it was stuck in the lock position, but not a big deal since I really didn't need it anyways). The bed was big, especially for one person, but still didn't take up a large part of the room as there were still areas one could sit down and watch TV for example without having to be stuck watching it in the bed. Bathroom was fine, came with an assortment of necessities such as shampoo and a toothbrush with toothpaste among other things. However, they were not located in the bathroom at all, but under the TV so if you aren't looking you could miss seeing them. The dryer rack wasn't working and think that just had to do with the time of year as it was getting close to the summer season and they probably didn't have them connected at all. Would have been nice to dry off my clothes, but again, not a deal breaker. The only issue with the room, besides the safe was the ceiling near the head of the bed where you sleep was slanted and that meant the possibility of hitting your head when getting up or getting into bed with the lights out. So just something to keep in mind. Location wise, it's perfect. You have a pedestrian street out front, so no traffic and this is right by the main area of the pedestrian zone in Belgrade, meaning you are close to everything in the center. It is also close by the Central Bus Station and the old train station which is no longer functioning, but you can still get tickets for trains in Topčider in advance which is what I did as I was getting a sleeping berth on the over night train to Bar. Staff again was great. Very helpful. The one even escorted me to the kiosk at the end of the street to get one of my tickets for a day trip I was doing which made it a lot easier than getting it at the bus station. I also had a female that worked at night that was really nice as well and really enjoyed having a staff like that at a hotel. In the lobby too, there is information on day trips and organized trips as well as maps and such to help any tourist with their planning. For the price, location and friendliness, this place is one that I wouldn't think twice about reserving again if I were ever to make it back to Belgrade.

A lovely lodge with private rooms above a truly excellent restaurant in central Belgrade. Our room was large, had a double and a single, was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location was handy for walking around Belgrade and getting the buses/trams/trolleybuses which run very efficiently around the city. We had no trouble reaching the landmark Avala Tower this way among other trips. The lodge managers welcomed us warmly, arranged taxis from the airport and on to the train station, and gave us complete advice on attractions to visit with a map. Everybody could not do enough for us and this hotel was so good that we can’t wait to come back in the future. Although run in conjunction with the restaurant, the two operate independently but for the visitor the relationship is seamless. Nothing but good words to say on this place.
