Bad impression since the first moments. We are "welcoming" (!!!) into a living room with shoes, materasses and a huge caos everywhere.... We were supposed to have a double room with private bedroom... The housegirl shows us the room explaining that, actually, they have only one bathroom for 2 rooms at this hostel, but that can be feasable. I, then,... More

This is just a quick review - the Belcity team was really nice, helpful and welcoming and I'd recommend the hostel. Unfortunately we ended up not staying as we were part of a bigger group who were based in Belgrade city centre, so I can't comment on the rooms or facilities. The main contact at Belcity was very understanding and... More

Just like the title says, an absolutely brilliant place to stay while in Belgrade. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I was staying with three friends and we had a whole floor with two rooms and a bathroom for ourselves. There's a great view from the balcony. The hostel has free wifi. The owner is brilliant, he will help you with... More

I am a world traveler and have stayed in many hostels in many countries. Of all the hostel hosts I have known, the young couple that owns Belcity Hostel in Belgrade is one of the most caring and generous I have known, even going so far as to share some of their home-cooked meals with me. Nikola is quite popular... More

Although we had a reservation, our original place Cricket Hostel was overbooked, so they put us in this new hostel. It's actually a bit more expensive but Cricket covered the difference so that was okay. It's a bit pricey otherwise. The couple that ownes it is very friendly. Belcity is actually more a homestay place than a real hostel: it's... More

Hi everyone, It's strange how some people easily offend others. "it looks like a common room on the website so don't be fooled), they live and sleep there with their children" That is the common room. Firstly I have only one child. Secondly I live with my family three streets away. When there are not many guests we sleep there.... More
