Very comfortable, cozy and clean place. Also very close to city center. I stayed there for my entrance exam at Faculty of Philosophy. Hosts were polite and helpful. They helped me to get to the hotel (transported me with their own car) and explained everything I had to know about the place and the city. It is also surprisingly calm and quiet place considering how close it is to the city center. In conclusion, great place, great people, affordable and I would certainly recommend it.

One of the best places I've stayed. It's right at the heart of the city center. Flawless! Easy to find, cleaninnes on a highest level, the host are such gems. Desa and Ivan are extremely hospitable and available all the time ( of course in an appropriate time of the day) for any info. I highly suggest visiting the Selection Apartments , you won't regret it.

3 girlfriends stayed here for 3 nights. The owner is a really hospitable and caring person. From time to time, he sends messages such as "Do you need anything? If you have a question, you can ask it." He gave us recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. We found everything we needed. The room was very clean and adequate. I stayed for 10 days at this apartment. It is a very good place, nice owners, clean and tidy rooms, full kitchen, private bathroom. Extremely recommended. Also, it’s close to Center town, restaurants and all the attractions. Fast broadband.

A beautiful apartment in the heart of Belgrade. The host was very welcoming and helped us plan our 3-day trip perfectly. The place was so clean and comfortable. There is AC in rooms which is nice for hot summer days.

The property
Selection is a family run hotel of just 3 rooms in the very centre of Belgrade. We were guests there for 3 days. The place is completely new (just started working in may). It is kept very clean and the room was spacious. All rooms have their own bathrooms, and air conditioning, complementary tea and coffee and free high speed internet .
There is a full kitchen where you can even do laundry and prepare meals. There is a beautiful courtyard balcony as well.
The location
This you can not beat - in the very centre of Belgrade. From there you can reach all the highlights within maximum 10 minutes walk and in 100 steps you will be in Knez Mihajlova street with all the shops and surrounding bars.
The public transportation in Belgrade can be quite a nightmare, especially in the summer (no air conditioning) so staying in the centre is an absolute must.
The owner
The owner, Ivan picked us up from the airport and is very friendly. As the hotel can have a maximum of 10 guests at a time, he manages to be a very friendly host (offering services, giving tips on current events and hotspots. But he is not in your face. A very good hotel owner. We got some very good tips for a local food restaurant.
All can be arranged with this guy (we haven't tried to arrange asked but also discounts and such are possible)
Conclusion
At the rates of 50 E per night for 2 people including all of the above - you absolutely cant find anything better at such a location. Competition is quickly >80 E. Great value and most of all great experience.

A fatastic option in the centre of Belgrade! The rooms are off extremely high standard that would cost you easily £100 in london! Here you get the same standard for the price of a hostel! Along with this you get the best hosts imaginable that will really look after you from pick up to a briliant tour around belgrade and its surrounding area. I really dont think it would have been possible to have had a better time in Belgrade! What an apartment!! Thanks Ivan your the best host!!!!!!!!!

We have given this accommodation an excellent rating not because it is luxurious, but because it ticks all the boxes a traveller needs. The location is excellent - we walked everywhere and had excellent choices for eating each day. Excellent value, very clean, large room, excellent wifi. There is a lift in the building and a kitchen that was shared by everyone staying in one of the 3 rooms available. We had room 2 which had a closed in balcony and although it didn't have an en suite, we had our own bathroom just along the corridor. But without doubt the best thing about staying here was meeting Ivan and his wife who were just amazing hosts. Ivan picked us up from the train station and spent quite a bit of time showing us around the city so that we got our bearings. Highly recommended.

We booked this via Hotels.com because we didn't find it on Booking.com, which is the agent we normally use. (It is listed on there as selection rooms).
From the onset, the communications with Ivan were excellent. He agreed to pick us up at the airport, which was free, as we were staying 3 nights. We asked him about currency (as you can only buy in Serbia) but he said not to buy at the airport as there were change offices locally, which offered better rates. Ivan was at the airport waiting for us, you can't miss him really (at 6'8!) - very informative and pleasant drive in. He asked us what we enjoyed and gave advice as to what we may want to see. We got to the apartment, and there is a small lift to the 4th floor.
Ivan's wife, Desa was waiting for us. She showed us our room and explained how things worked eg: hot water, facilities etc. There are 3 rooms to the apartment, all non smoking (hurrah) with a shared kitchen. The facilities are very good, fridge in each room and also a shared fridge in kitchen. Computer with printer and free wi fi which had a strong signal. The TV was good, with a selection of english speaking channels. The mattress was excellent and comfortable. Good quality equipment in the rooms. Free toiletries. Lots of storage with a lockable cupboard inside. Shutters for black out, which was very good in terms of soundproofing and sleeping. Location - excellent, 5 mins to the centre and supermarkets, bars nearby. Small bathroom and shower curtain, which are not our favourite, but you can only work with the space available.
What made this absolutely 5* was Ivan and Desa. They do all they can to make your stay a pleasant one. Ivan gave us a map explaining where the landmarks are etc and then a short walking orientation tour around the centre. The apartments are very clean, and Desa's provision of a fruit bowl on the second day, was also welcoming. It is a shame we couldn't go on the tour with Ivan, but the weather meant that it would have been a waste. Fair play to Ivan, he could have taken us on the tour, and charged us money but was honest and said it wouldn't be worth it. For the pricing, location, service, equipment, quality, facilities this has to be a 5 for us. Would definitely recommend and would return.
