I had an amazing opportunity to try traditional, home made Serbian sausages, cheese, wine and rakija during a special tasting event combined with presentation of the distillery. I loved the place, its traditional interior design, wide range of Serbian food and drinks, professional service. Our waiter spoke very good English and had a huge knowledge on the wine and cheese manufacture process. I would love to come back to Sucevic Hotel & Restaurant.

The food is really, really great, especially BBQ. We really enjoyed it as many times before. Unfortunately, the waiter yesterday was so rude that we will not visit this place again. We spent almost 2.5 hours in a restaurant, waiting for him to approach us. He did not speak at all, when he did, he was simple rude. At the end he brought us bill, we paid by card and them he came back to say that he had not charged one bottle of water! We paid it in cash, obviolsy he took it as a tip. It is rather sad to have such a great food and nice place and that waiters are so awful. So, if you mind the service, this is not a place for you, unfortunately. We are not coming back neither we will recommend the place.

I can only share my impressions regarding small ethno-restaurant of the Hotel Sucevic because we had not stayed in the hotel. We were there for a lunch. The restaurant is a bit on a small side, with traditional decoration, tables are to close - you have no privacy during eating. it has own parking lot-which is always a big plus. This is a good place for meat eaters, not so much for vegetarians. Food was tasty and fresh, service was excellent. Since we do not drink, I cannot tell of what quality vine or spirits are.

The hotel is near to the ring road and is excellent to transit travellers. Rooms are very big, well-appointed with very big and nice bathroom. Minus is absence of lift only. The breakfast is with local food - very tasty. The best is delicious food (mainly meat), starters and strong drinks. There are live music and etno furnishing. Recommend.

I had a great stay here on many occasions. First of all, the hotel is in a quit area of Belgrade called Avala which is around 20 minutes from the centre and It is blissfully easy to find by car. The hotel parking is in a very secure, well-signed, car park directly next to the hotel. If you give them enough notice when booking they will arrange a pickup form the airport and all main transport stations. I was greeted by extremely pleasant, English-speaking staff all around. A few minutes after I was shown to my room, they welcomed me with complementary drink - what a generous touch! The authentic Serbian restaurant its situated on the ground floor of the hotel. I must say the food and locally produced vines and spirits are excellent. I have the homemade sausage every time I go (Domaca kobasic) it honestly beats any Argentinian steak. The rooms are very spacious with a very comfortable bedd which have memory foam mattress. The Wi-Fi is reliable and fast. Breakfast was very nice - there was a nice selection of hot and cold items, various breads and pastries, local spreads, and bowls of whole fruit. The best part of this hotel is definitely the staff. They are friendly and helpful. Multilingual night porter called Stevisa has me in stiches with laughter every time I visit the hotel. If you’re looking for night life guide look no further speak to the GM Luka who will get you on a guest list in every club in Belgrade and will probably also join you on your adventure. I was and am very impressed with the service. It’s like been at home with butler service 24/7! I will absolutely stay here again when I return to Belgrade. It's an excellent hotel.

I was travelling on business to Belgrade when I found this gem of a Hotel located on Avala. The room I stayed in was breathtaking, very comfortable and clean. The food in the Etno Restaurant was amazing and delicious, great mix of local cuisine and cuisines from around the world, what I believe is the best part about the restaurant is everything is organic including the red, white wine and Rakia. The staff are very profesional and very knowledgeable about the cuisines and drinks, they are all fluent in english. I reccomend Hotel Sucevic to everyone who wants to visit Belgrade because of its comfort, delicious food and friendly staff.

I went to the Avala mountain, and on the way back I stopped at Hotel Sucevic for a lunch. Lovely restaurant with domestic food specialties, home made wine and brandy (rakija). I went for a quick tour of the four star hotel which has it's own wine cellar and great looking rooms.

Staff speaks fluent English and are very kind. Definitely recommend this place! :) Try their "rakia" - speechless!!!
