It is small, but cozy hostel. IMPORTANT FOR NON-SMOKERS to say is that unfortunately smoking is allowed (even though there are signs for prohibited smoking), especially in the kitchen. Hosts are friendly and helpful.

My friend and I stumbled into the 1001 Nights Hostel one night in Belgrade and we were greeted by a charming, welcoming atmosphere involving much rakija. Life around the hostel revolves around this pleasant atmosphere and the hostel manager Dusko makes sure your stay is as pleasant as possible - he's also a bubbly person and a delight to talk... We got a tip from our friend, that this hostel is nice, cozy and comfy. And it was all true! Beds, bathroom, toilets, kitchen, everything is clean. The owner is wonderful. He would do ANYTHING for you. Situated directly in center yet quiet with opened windows to inner building block. I felt like home for the time I was there.

Great fun hostel. Owner is very friendly, will sit and socialise with you and offer you Rakija. Location is good - main sites are all in comfortable walking distance. Only downside was it was it lacked a large common area. The kitchen is functional but a bit small. There's so a small balcony and a few seats in the reception... More

I stayed at 1001 nights hostel and had a great experience. It was cleam and quiet, even though it is located in the center of Belgrade. The windows and patio overlook a rose garden amd the other side looks out at St. Markos church and park.i will be back there again for sure.

We arrived early in the morning and Dosku, the owner, asked if we wanted to sleep, but since there were people in our room he would make up the beds in the private room. Such good service! We even got one night in the private room for the same price as a dorm. Also, when I had to get a... More

Dusko is one of the nicest guys I ever met. Running a very cozy hostel with some nice television chains. I felt immediately home. He's always up to have some Rakija, just my kind of peeps! Thumbs up, I'll be going back there. A lot better than those big hostels, in here there was such a nice atmosphere!
