I have been to Belgrade many times and have always been on the fence about the hostels there so usually rent an apartment. But I was recommended to stay at Good People Hostel and it is the best decision I have ever made on a trip to Belgrade.
The location is very central, so it is possible to walk just about anywhere in the center to take in the sights and museums. Also, the hostel itself is immaculate, clean, and there is a great vibe inside.
The beds are cozy, the bathroom and showers have lots of space, and the kitchen has all the amenities necessary. The backyard is a great addition as well, and the staff is always ready and able to help you whenever you have any questions.

For a hostel, it's very well-kept and has great customer service, but it wasn't quite for me and I do have a few qualms. You do have to talk to them beforehand about needing a parking space, which isn't reserved but I needed to pay them 8 euros per 24 hours to find a street parking space (free overnight and on weekends), which luckily I found a perfect one right outside my bedroom window. The walls are thin, so I could hear every world the family in the room adjacent to our 4 bedroom female dorm said, talking loudly for many hours at night before bed and then in the morning. If there was availability for a bunk on the other side of the room, I probably wouldn't have had this problem, but the 6 bedroom female dorm was full. The girls I was bunked with were all very polite and most were quiet, even though they went to bed as late as midnight/1am and got up as early as 7am. Our room had some rude drunk girls on the street knock on our window for no reason while some of us were trying to sleep, but no fault to the hostel. The street it is on was a very quiet side street otherwise. The top bunk was hard to get up to with vertical embedded ladder, especially since I have some mobility issues with my knees and feet. There were privacy curtains (with a little gap that I closed with my complimentary small towel) and large lockers with a key to keep my luggage in. The beds were pretty comfortable, but very squeaky. I did not like having to walk through smokers to
get into the hostel. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the wi-fi worked well, even in the bedroom.

Good People Hostel was a great place ton stay for a month, the staff are kind and attentive, and most of them speak good English.
The people of the hostel live like a community and it's an all round great place to be. A highlight would be that the beds actually have a curtain guaranteeing privacy, I completely recommend this hostel.

This is a great hostel and I bet at summer time it's even better when you can fully enjoy outdoor terrace.
Dorms and all hostel was spottless. Good kitchen to cook. Friendly staff. This hostel even gave postcards for customers to write and sent them behalf of you for free! The are was also nice.
Only tiny complains:
at winter time the only common area is the open kitchen and there isn't many seats especially when I was there, couple seats were always taken by digital nomads. Also the breakfast system was complicated: you could choose from 3 different options (all good), tell your choice at the reception, then they call the nearby cafe and go to pick it up from the cafe. It felt very complicated process. Also slow: one day it took one hour to get a bowl of oat meal because there were check-outs etc same time and the guy at the reception was busy (and I guess he also just forgot my breakfast..)
But anyway, this is a nice place to stay, I can recommend.

This is a new hostel, very clean and well cared for. Conveniently located. Staff speaks English and Russian. Bathrooms are clean and modern. There's a shared kitchen with everything needed for cooking, a hangout area with a little work desk, and a nice little garden. From time to time a cool dog shows up. They also run regular events such as BBQ/meetups. A great place to stay in Belgrade.

I did not actually spend a night at this hostel. i tried to book a bed here, but i made the mistake to use a third party wedsite that did not register the booking properly. when i arrived there, there was no bed available for me.
however, they showed a lot of sympathy for it and called a nearby hostel to book a bed for me there. i am very greatful for that, so i decided to write my first review to thank them.

Hostel is 10min walk from Republic Square (centre). Rooms clean/tidy, good security (card access), free WiFi/bedding, free towel (but this is hand towel so small), locker for each bed, comfy bed, private curtain for bed, charging point/light/shelf in bed. Chilled hostel, friendly staff, kitchen/dining room, seats in courtyard. Free city maps. Staff have food tips for food/places to visit (visit Walter cevapi 2 streets away - good Serbian food & drinks very good price). Take a free walking tour in town 10am&3:30pm (republic square-reserve online-just google company with red umbrella).
Only downside is that when I stayed there were no activities/tours offered, not huge atmosphere but good if you want to just chill. Take A1 Bus from airport to Slavija square then get a taxi (I used taxi app Car:go - cost around £2.50/€2.90/$3.22£ as tram2/10 don’t run as it says on hostel website (I asked many people in Slavija square). Overall a very good hostel.

Let start with the positive
a) the area is lovely, close to many points including the Danube (for a nice Saturday stroll)
b) the entrance of the hostel is clean and inviting
c) The ladies at reception couldn't have been more helpful
d) the beds were comfortable
The less positive:
-The lounge/living area is small with a large white table which is occupied from morning till evening by Digital Nomads all talking loudly into their microphones, whilst tapping away loudly ontheir laptops
-Yes, there is a garden - but if the weather is nice, the same noise levels + there is smoke from the smokers.
If the weather is rainy when you are there, wihich is was for me, then you can hide in your room for peace and quiet or go outside in the rain.
To conclude: the public areas are noisy and not welcoming at all.
So, if you are going for one nights stay, then the Good People Hostel is more than fine, BUT if your are there for longer, please choose another place where you can sit and also think.
