I'm a regular visitor in Belgrade because of work and therefore I've tried a few hotels there. Crystal is the best one I've been to in Belgrade yet. My room was nice, bed was good, bedding and everything excellent. The shower was great and everything was clean and nice. Breakfast selection is good and the breakfast was generally good, the breakfast staff maybe not the best in the world, I never quite knew if e.g. asking for a fresh juice (which they supply) was a nuisance to them or not, but I think that may be more due to language than anything else. Lobby staff was extremely nice and helpful though. Over all I had a really good stay and will make this my home in Belgrade from now on.

Take a modern full confort hotel, clean and tidy. Place it in very quiet but lively borough of Belgrade. Add awesome, friendly people. Put e roof garden with the very best possible view on top of it. The Crystal hotel comes out. To die for.

What a find. We were welcomed like long lost friends ( even though this was our first visit) and from the moment I stepped from my car staff were available and keen to help at every turn. Parking looked like a problem , but someone came from reception and minutes later vehicles had been moved and we were parked directly outside the entrance. Our little dog was fussed over. Our room was of a good size ( free upgrade) and of modern design. Comfortable bed, big shower and plenty of walking room. Disappointing that we only had Earl Grey tea and coffee on offer in the room ( no milk) but having ventured to the excellent rooftop bar and asked for English black tea we were served with...Earl Grey! So it may just be what they think is English tea ( small grumble). Food in the rooftop bar looks like lite-bites/snack but was of ample proportions and the view across to the cathedral wonderful. Didn’t favour the music or its volume though. Throughout our stay the staff were great. To my shame they spoke excellent English and, as noted, nothing seemed too much trouble for them. In view of the times they even had hand sanitiser on the exception desk. Not sure if we’ll be back to Belgrade but if we do I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

I'll start by putting this into perspective. I and all my team have always booked the Crystal when we are working in Belgrade because it has always met our needs. I hope my experience this time is a one off, but the inability of the management has really made me re-assess our future Belgrade booking policy. Overall, its clean, staff are super friendly and its well positioned for lots of places. This time, however, on arrival I was told that there was a power cut on the floor where my room was to be and I would be moved to a different hotel for the night. I was still permitted to eat breakfast at the Crystal and I was given complimentary dinner that night. All good so far. The replacement hotel was not to Crystal standard and I asked that I am given my booked room the next day when the power is repaired. I asked again at breakfast and left the reception team my phone number. When I returned to check status that evening I was told that no, there was no space because of how late I was asking! Despite pointing out that I had asked at 8:00 in the morning, they could not accommodate me because my room had been advertised online and now had been filled! No amount of discussion would change this position. Sure, communication sometimes breaks, but in a good establishment, that should not happen. Belgrade now has many many good hotels and I will not be automatically booking Crystal next time.
