Booked a month's stay for 4. There was some miscommunication with the staff but we worked it out in the end. Found used underwear in the shower. Decided to cut our stay short and only stay til the end of the week. When we called to let them know, we were told we're not welcome anymore and that we need to pack and leave. It was after 6pm and we had already paid for half a month. When we asked what house rule did we break to get kicked out- radio silence.
I booked a room for two nights for 3 persons a week before arriving into the hotel. Even though my reservation was confirmed, once I arrived into the hotel I was told that due to an error my room was not available any more.
I have book four nights in September for me and my family . Staff was not friendly and not helpful already on arrival. Nobody to help you with suitcases, they are just standing there and watching you carry them on the stairs. Once we got in room - another surprise - small room, not clean shower and flies. Even though we did prepaid for four nights, we decided to move to neighbouring hotel “Mark”, that could accommodate us. Hotel Marquise disregarded our complaint and never did refund for any of the four night, while we spent there 30 minutes in total. However, location is great! But would not recommend to anyone.
The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very well-located in the centre of Old Belgrade. The rooms are equipped with everything you need - desk, mini-bar, kettle, flatscreen TV, and are clean, modern and airy. Bathrooms same. The rooms/bathrooms are small, and there's not alot of space, but OK. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant Detox Kitchen is in the same building, and provides the breakfast. The food is truly horrible (I also had dinner there one night). Badly-cooked (in my case, only half-cooked), many menu items not actually available, teenage staff who are more interested in listening to the (very loud) music on the speaker system than serving. And probably the worst breakfast I've had in Serbia. That the only downside and criticism of the Marquise Hotel. In all other respects I very much enjoyed my stay.…
Great value, quick responses when reserving, friendly team on reception, walk-in shower in the room, great location. Only issues were there was nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom and the breakfast could be improved with more variety...and more cups and glasses. They ran out all the time. Would stay there again though.
As I mentioned in a title this little hotel has everything you need. Very clean, great location in the city center with their own parking spaces, very helpfull staff, more than an affordable price and a great breakfast that goes with all of this. Totally recommend it to everyone, I will return for sure.
The bed is like a table, for the first night they had just one pillow per person, had a window in my room that didn’t have how to close and woke up very early with all the light. A bit noisy too. Plus: is a beautiful hotel and clean.
We have spent two days in this beautiful small historical hotel, that is located in calm street. Hotel is quiet with excellent supportive staff members and with cosy beds. Breakfast is also nice buffet with wide range of food including Serbian domestic food. Good stay.
Location in the heart of old part Belgrade.Peacefull street good for sleeping.Room good size and clean. Breakfast could be better(no bakery products and bigger choice of cheese). Staff excellent, young girl Jovana(in restorant) is nice and like help you for everything. At the end I recommend this hotel where will find best ratio price/value.
After reading the good reviews and see the nice pictures, we book the hotel for a business trip. It is definitely not a 4 stars hotel. More like an Inn. The lobby is very very small and not as in the pictures The superior room is very basic. My boss didn't agree to stay there! So we had to look for another hotel in the middle of the night and to pay for 2 nights for the room we even didn’t check in. If you look for a 4 stars (or even 3) just avoid it !
