If you're wanting a luxurious hotel experience, Xenon hotel is the place to stay. Rather you're visiting in the winter or summer, Hotel Xenon is by far the best place to stay for me in Belgrade. It has everything you need and it's 5 minutes by taxi to the city center. Hotel staff are super lovely and will always help you out with everything you need around Belgrade. Make sure you have a visit to the pool area and sauna. One of the best place to relax.

This is a very nice small hotel, all what we needed was available in excellency . I recommend it for any visitor to Belgrade, it is not at the center but a Taxi takes you anywhere in minutes with much less than 10 Euros . The reception ladies are very helpful. The breakfast is great with good variety. The pool & Jacuzzi are an added value . All in all is Excellent.

The hotel is very nice and clean, staff is helpful, friendly, and not least, young and pretty. Breakfast is not extremely rich but is delicious (at least the freshly cooked stuff, mayo looked suspicious). As for the location and view, it’s a big disadvantage - far from city centre, and my room is facing towards another part of the building. To top that, air con is set to 26 degrees Centigrade and there is no way to change it. However, if you open the balcony you enjoy the loudest chiller in production, working nonstop at 50 dB. Tiny buttons on the air con controller allow you to display a digital sign on your door if you want your room to be cleaned or if you want privacy. No need to use it though, because they will enter your room independent of the chosen setting. My room is medium sized, with a long and narrow bathroom and a bump down the middle of the double bed, because there are two single matresses on it. The place is recently built and has some interesting design ideas and combinations of materials. The styrofoam ornaments all over the ceilings look almost like construction elements. There is no decaf coffee at the bar, neither desserts, but smoking is allowed, when the non smoking signs on the tables are covered with ashtrays. If it weren’t for the staff, I would have given it a bit lower score. When I couldn’t find slippers in the room I got them personally from the receptionist immediately right after I assured her they were missing. The tall bartender with turquoise coloured nails is very polite and quick. Standardisation of serving is a minor issue, as you get honey with your tea depending on which person is serving it. The same is valid for the rooms, two days I had instant coffee without sugar and today there are packages with sugar in them. There is a kettle to make the coffee and tea but no sugar or cream. The minibar contains only drinks and was refreshed only the first two days but if you are brave enough you can have tap water with just a hint of white colour from the carbonates and chlorine and a strong aftertaste of oxidised iron from the pipes. Nevertheless, the overall experience from my stay is leaning towards pleasant. You might be lucky to have another room. I am looking forward to visit again and I hope you can take some of my remarks in consideration.
