The best hotel in Bucharest by far. I was there for 4 nights and they made ne feel special. The GM, Gratiela Badicu personally saw to my well being. The 2 gentlemen at the front desk very extremely nice and went out of their way to help me in every way possible. We became friends! Excellent garden side room, lovely sit out, bar open all the time. And the location is just fantastic. A walk from old town, restaurants, train station, suoer market. I couldn't have asked for more.

We stayed for a long weekend in early October and were pleased with both our room, service at reception and location. There are several cafes in walking distance so breakfast is easy and sets you up for the day. Walking distance into the city and the subway is easy to use and get around further afield. Several restaurants nearby or plenty worth experiencing in town and the reception desk were always very helpful to make reservations and book taxis.
Would recommend this hotel and Bucharest is an exciting and easy city to explore.

We arrive late in the evening and as we hadn’t had time to have dinner, the night manager made us a sandwich and brought it up to our room. We had a early start for a day trip and they put together a packed breakfast for us. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.
As our trip was during COVID everyone was wearing masks and hand sanitiser was available. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel Moxa.

Okay 9/10 on location. The breakfast 7/10 and a 7 only because everywhere else for breakfast doesn't open until 10 or 11am. No point in waking up at 7am everywhere seems to be closed until 10amish in Bucharest.
My biggest issue is the front desk staff did not care to help with any problem.
If I tell them a guy wants to charge me $450 to take me to Bran Castle they should say No don't do that save your money get to the castle by xyz route. In fact we figured it out ourself. However as a tourist it sucks to have to spend time to learn train routes or bus routes when certainly the workers already know these things.
Also it's a bit of a scam on laundry here. They want $7 USD to wash ONE shirt!!!
So Helpfulness of hotel staff 3/10.
This hotel could employ one worker to run guest laundry to a public laundry mat and could charge guests $30 a load and everyone would still win. Yet we as guests had to spend our tourism time instead doing our own laundry.
If you don't care about hotel staff helpfulness, laundry, or offensive stickers on the front door and just want a good location near Victory Street this is it.

Dear ShakoNM, Thank you for staying @Le Boutique Hotel Moxa Bucharest! We are surprised from your negative review posted on Tripadvisor following your recent stay in our hotel. You mentioned few times about Israel and Palestine and we would like to inform you that we do not take a side at the conflict and we do believe in peace and mutual living Israelis and Palestine’s together. I remember very well about you and your wife having you as guests of our hotel. We talked during your stay here and you told us that you enjoy the stay with us. After check out we had again a very nice conversation in front of the hotel, when you were waiting for the car to drive you to Gara de Nord. Christian help you with the luggage to transfer it few meters from the hotel, in front of the coffee shop where was no sun. You were happy with your visit to mountain and then you told me you will go to Chisinau or Odesa and you ask me if I know good restaurants there. I thought that you been happy with our hotel location. We really don’t understand what and why you been disturb during your stay with us. Kindley let us know because it is difficult for us to determine exactly what had happened. We would be more than happy to improve our services and to have another opportunity to change your impression about our hotel services. Best regards, Gratiela Badicu General Manager

Stayed at this hotel for 10 nights with my husband. The staff members are all very friendly and most speak English. We were in room 804 which is a larger room with a king-size bed. Large bathroom, ample supply of hot water, free wifi, lots of light, and a large minibar. The only problem is the street noise because one of the windows faces the street Calea Victoriei. The noise does die down at night though and it did not bother me once I got used to it however it bothered my husband. The hotel is within walking distance of Old Town and many of the museums. The breakfast was good and the soup at night in the restaurant was delicious and homemade. As I understand, some of the rooms are very small and there is a new and old section of the hotel. We stayed in the older section but you may want to check on the type of room before booking. Super clean!!

Very friendly employers, the place is luxuryus and very clean. The rooms smell fresh and it has a nice location, you are near everything you need just by walking. Rooms are big and spatious, the orange juice is fresh. One single complaint is that still water and coffee had a detergent taste, the ones i had at least. My friend instead had a good one. I recommand coming here, good prices, fine location.

Dear mkilic3010, Many thanks for your review! We are happy you appreciate our reception’s colleague and our hotel location. Regarding the breakfast, we have hot and cold buffet and there are plenty of dishes according with the 4 stars’ hotel rules. We add filter to the windows cause in the summer is very hot so this help that the room will be cooler. We would like to thank you again for feedback, I am going to discuss with my team Looking forward to welcoming you back soon! My kindest regards, Gratiela Badicu General Manager

Excellent hotel, the rooms in the old part are of a very good standard (we are in room 805), cozy, well equipped, quiet and without comments. The reception service at the hotel is excellent and the handling of any issue is immediate and impeccable. Good breakfast and here too, excellent service from the woman and the guy who serve us. The hotel location is very good and a weekend where the main street (Victoria) is closed to traffic brings hundreds of people and street musicians who make your stay at the hotel pleasant.

We greatly enjoyed our two night stay at Le Boutique Hotel Moxa. The hotel was very pleasant and the room that we were allocated (a suite) was a good size and very comfortable. The hotel comprises two buildings, one older and one newer, with a nice terrace in the middle where you can enjoy a drink outside. The location of the hotel was excellent and both central and a lovely area to walk around, with the shops and restaurants around Calea Victoria only a few minutes away. The breakfast was of a good standard (including a nice variety of typical Romanian breakfast dishes and freshly made tea and coffee, alongside juices and other beverages). The staff were very helpful and friendly. In particular, we must mention the sales manager Angelica who was exceptional in her kindness and hospitality. We look forward to staying again at Le Boutique Hotel Moxa on a future visit to Bucharest.

I had a long 3-week stay at Moxa and from the moment I arrived, the staff made my stay comfortable. The reception was always friendly and helpful, and the restaurant staff were always providing wonderful breakfast buffet and service. Thank you Mary, Alex and the rest of the team). My room was cleaned and always Monica would ask if I needed any extra tasks done in the room. The management does an excellent job responding to requests and making sure that I felt like this was my home away from home. Thank Gratiela and team. I will be back again!

No it’s not. Have the hotel reception organize a driver for you.
Good morning! The best way is private car from the hotel. It cost 25 euro. You can also take the bus 783 and you have to reach Piata Victoriei station. It cost around 3 euro.
Good morning,
There is wifi internet connection free of charge in every room.
Have a nice day!
Hello! You can find in our hotel fitness room, sauna and massage. If you are interested in a big spa, we can recomand you Therme @ 20 minutes by taxi.
Have a nice day and see you soon!
Best regards,
Le Boutique Hotel Moxa Team
You call the hotel and they will take car of that. It's a very good service and well worth the mony. The hotel will tell you how much it cost - about 30$. In bucarest it's not safe to just go on a taxi you do not know. I recommend to cordinate all transportion throw the hotel.
