Very nice hotel in the old district of the town. The service crew is also nice. The prices are on the medium level, but the views from the windows are not too good. The furniture is also a minus of this hotel. Location is really quiete comfortable, but calculated avarege times of travels to some given destinations are actual only within the weekend because of traffic jams in the whole citi from Monday to Friday. Computer net with acces to the internet is calculated in the price. The hotel is worth of the price.

The hotel is situated in one of the nicer parts of Bucharest, in a quiet area and yet not to far away from the center.

The room we had was very nice, and maybe one of the nicest hotel rooms I which I have ever stayed. The furniture, although already a couple of years old has been chosen with a lot of taste, and the room had a very nice flair. The bathroom was quite formidable for a 4 star hotel.

This could well have been the perfect hotel, and yet, it is the details that ruins a little bit the nice setting.

First of all, there is no elevator in the room. Since it probably is an old house, this by itself should not be seen as a negative point. However someone asking you or care about helping to carry the luggage to the third floor can and has to be expected from such a hotel. This was not the case.

According to the hotel, they have a parking for hotel guests. Since the reception did not inform us about this service, we asked a guy apparently working for „hanging around“ in front of the hotel about the parking. In fact, hotel guests can use the parking in front of the hotel (which does not belong to the hotel, but which is public) and which is blocked by chairs or other objects by this guard for hotel guests. He advised us to look for some parking in the street. Our impression was that a generous tip could have helped to have one of these parkings… Unfortunately, one of the parkings was also permanently bloocked by a car belonging to the hotel.

The hotel also announces on ist website that it has a spa area - neither hotel information in the room, nor the employee at the reception informed us about this hotel facility.

The hotel also advertises with a concierge service – we tried to get information about the opening hours of the People’s Palace (not really an uncommon place to visit when you are in Bucharest) and got nothing sensible and even wrong information. We also tried to ask about a nice restaurant, but again we only received a smile and the

Finally, the quality of the breakfast was average at best.

Rooms were very clean (as long as you do not take to close of a look under the bed or other furniture).

The hotel seems to employ a great number of personnel, many of them don’t seem to know what to do. All personnel was very friendly and tried to be helpful. Obviously, they seem to lack any form of training or experience, and I guess it is mainly management that has to be blamed for problems described above.

It is really a pity, because Residence Olivier is really a nice hotel, it has been put a lot of care and attention to details in the rooms’ furniture, and yet it seems to be very badly managed. The owners of the hotel should think about replacing management if they don’t want the hotel to be further run down.

It is a great hotel but the standard in the rooms should be better for that price. The same goes for the breakfast whixch could be better. Service is great and the reception and buiding as a whole very beautiful.

Very good location just next to arc the triumph and embassy areas.

This hotel is not a four star hotel. There was no one on reception, just told you to ring a number and they never answered. I had to go looking for someone to check in. We paid for bed and breakfast for four nights to be told no breakfasts were being served. Never saw the nice dining room that was supposed to be there and is shown in the pictures. Most doors were locked. No coffee or tea making facilities in rooms, didn’t service our room when we left the hanger on the door asking them to. We even had to buy our own toilet roll! There was a coffee shop in the foyer which was never open and no idea where the supposed spa was! The hotel was like a ghost hotel , barely saw any staff for four days. The bar/restaurant attached was run by someone other than the hotel and wasn’t interested in doing breakfast. This was for our 35th anniversary and it was ruined. The only good thing was a comfortable bed. I am demanding some form of compensation from the company who we booked with. I would most definitely not stay here again.

The accommodation appears friendly and clean on the net. When looking into the offered room on the ground floor, however, a different impression is then presented. In the room, either tons of room spray were distributed, or the entire carpet was soaked with it. The air is extremely stuffy and causes headaches. The window can only be opened to a limited extent, as air conditioning is booming right next door and the noise of the neighboring location is very loud.
The question of a change of room for the second night in the 3rd floor. Stock was only answered yes by the colleague on the morning shift and promised us another room. The very unfriendly staff member Florian, after our return to the hotel in the early evening, however, wanted to know nothing more about it. Therefore, there was no choice but to spend another night in this room.

Conclusion: better get away! from this accommodation. As a guest you are treated rather unfriendly and derogatory. Plus, it's loud and stuffy

not recommended, the rooms are sprayed with cheap room spray, the toilet flushing is running constantly, and the promised change from the lowest room P4 , which has a window to the backyard with noisy sounds of the technical hotel complex, to a higher room was not kept. we were treated quite unfriendly. not recommended even if the price would be fine.

A real disaster, we stayed 4 days and they only cleaned two and because we had to strongly request it. Hotel poorly maintained and old, almost never anyone at the reception. Dirty. We couldn't open the window in the room because it looked out onto a common patio. The bathroom had broken things. I will never return or recommend. The photos that appear would be from another moment of glory for the hotel because now it doesn't even look like it. It doesn't have an elevator so you have to walk up. I'll just give you one piece of information, of the two times they cleaned our room they gave us a bottle of soap already made from another room and water came out when you showered from the sink on the bathroom floor.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever been to.
We paid for bed and breakfast and breakfast didn’t actually exist.there was nobody in reception for the 4 days of our stay.
The room was not cleaned once and we even had to buy our own toilet paper.
A diabolical excuse for a hotel and I sincerely warn anybody booking this place

Day before accommodation, some guy called me (from staff), and asked me if I'm willing to change the hotel because ... they made some mistakes or something. Anyway, the room was in the back of the hotel, with no window, and, I'm sure about this, more cheap than I paid for, because, when I choose it on the site, was presented like superior degree or something. The personnel, when you can find them, mostly of them are not speaking romanian or even english. When I reported a problem with the shower, was fixed the day after I was reported, and with no indication of how to use it.

Hi On a normal day without traffic the hotel is about 15 mins drive from the airport. If you're travelling between 8 and 10 in the morning it will take longer though there is no need to pass through the centre of the city so you won't be delayed too long at peak hours.
