But the bad thing is that they allow people to smoke everywhere and we had the unpleasant experience of having a lady smoking by our side. It’s disgusting to have the smell of cigarettes while eating. They should have separate spaces for smokers and not smokers, at least.
Most probably I will not return.
There’s a good choice of food and drink on the menu and they do have a QR code on the tables which you can scan to place your order - this is useful as it also has pictures of the dishes so you can see exactly what you’re ordering. I had a stew, some water and a lemonade which came to about 100 lei altogether so not bad.
Some of our group didn’t want to tip (their choice) and our waiter seemed annoyed by this at the end. Overall though, a nice place.
From here, it went downhill. The crispy fried chicken was overcooked and no flavor. The accompanying potatoes were good.
The little salad was okay.
The meal ended with a chocolate cherry cake - very tasty.
The live entertainment was interesting. The other musicians were very loud.
We thank the waitress Cristina, who served everything impeccably and with a warm and kind smile.
I am not exaggerating when I say that this lady is the best waiter I have ever seen. She was discreet and attentive to all the details. The service was as in the book!
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat good food and to feel spoiled by the staff here.
It’s situated in downtown of the capital Bucharest,it’s not indicated to go there by car because they have a great wine :)
"Make sure to reserve a table or dont mind waiting in a line for 10-15min. When they have "full house" you may have to wait quite a bit for the dishes, which is normal. "Read full review
"If sitting down to eat or drink, ask for a table anywhere on the left hand side. Right hand side smells of abandoned rooms."Read full review
