We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We came for a short girls trip and liked that the hotel is very centrally located but at the same time very quiet. The room was spacious and clean and had everything one may need, including nice amenities. We were three and they had enough of towels etc for everyone, one queen bed and one sofa bed. The only small minuses were: the room was quite dark, it had only one window and its location did not allow the light into the entire room. Also the view wasn't the best. The minibar didn't have much choice (no wine and only 2 beers for the 3 of us). Although everything was very clean the design of the room was quite boring (although I wouldn't necessarily say dated). Finally, it was too warm in the room and I think for the winter they turned off the air conditioning. To be fair, we found that it was too hot everywhere in Bucharest, including Ubers ;). The breakfast didn't have a giant selection but since we were only there for 2 days it was more than enough for us and everything (except juices, which tasted like flat pop) was delicious. It was also nice that they have a small exercise room and sauna. We were pleasantly surprised that we could use the sauna even late at night, so one can relax after a long day of sightseeing. Most of the personal on reception was polite but not so big on smiles and such. However, one lady went above and beyond when I was having trouble printing my boarding pass and offered us a late checkout, which was great since our flight was in the evening. Thank you! Overall, although minor things could be improved (I'd give it a 4.5 stars if I could), we had a great time and I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Just arrived home from a 3 night trip to Bucharest. This hotel was a perfect base, and ideally located. There were bus stops, metro stations, bakeries and shops within a 5 minute walk, and the old town was just a little further.

As previous reviewers have mentioned, it's very warm in the hotel, and i found turning the air con on low didnt really cool the room so i just opened the windows instead. There were only two small rectangular windows which rmade the room quite dark.

The room itself is really comfy, and the bed and pillows are really good. The bathroom is well equipped and the shower is good too.

I cant really comment on other aspects of the hotel as I didnt use them, but staff were great. Very friendly and helpful, and recommending places to eat late.

I'd definitely recommend the Elisabeta, as it's great value.

My two previous stays in Bucharest were at a friendly, but, due to a disco next door, noisy hotel in the Old Town. So I needed a change. Daniela at the Front Desk over the phone convinced me of my next choice. K+ K Elisabeta upgraded us on registration and my wife and I enjoyed a very quiet stay, only a short walk (15 mınutes) to the Old Town. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast, although underground (on Floor -1) offered various options, ranging from pork sausage to Romanian pickled veg'. Cristian and Adela at breakfast could not have been more friendly and helpful at 07.00, showing real interest in our short stay in Bucharest. The bar sold excellent Romanian wines and the guy running this was also friendly and helpful with tips about which white wines to try. I would certainly return to this hotel and thoroughly recommend it to others.

Let's start with the biggest positive the customer service. One of the members of the party had a bad time sleeping and asked the reception if there was any possibility he could help with another room, he was very accommodating and gave him another room so he could get a good night's rest. This is exceptional customer service and goes above and beyond.

The hotel itself is good. It is quite small and some areas are outdated but it's clean and in a very good location. The bar prices also seemed reasonable for a hotel but we did not use.

For the hotel management, locks on the bathroom doors should be added as this is a problem when sharing a room. It would also be nice for a bottle of water to be included as the fee was much larger than any of the nearby shops.

Good hotel ,great location ,walking distance to old town/ attractions. Bus stop 783 runs to/from airport 24/7 just around the corner and I think it's the cheapest option. Reception staff very helpful and proffesional .I would stay again.

The hotel is excellently located by the University metro station so it’s just a short walk from there to the University and the Old Town. They were just coming out of covid restrictions so the breakfast offering was not to its usual standard.
The website boasts about fluffy towels, they weren’t! but other than that it was pretty good.

We decided to bring in the new year in Bucharest for a change, we're used to doing so in our home city of Edinburgh, our experience of Bucharest was just as special! From the moment we arrived at the hotel until we left I have nothing but positive things to say. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and very quiet at night for a city centre hotel. The breakfast was excellent, I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked bread and the eggs and sausages. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. And I have to say the fireworks display at the parliament palace was superb on New Year's Eve. All in all we had a wonderful experience and have left with a great fondness of Bucaresti - highly recommend this hotel and city!

1 - We did not get the room that was ordered, we got a very small room with a double bed even though a room with two single beds was ordered and there is even evidence in the voucher where it is clearly written as two single beds.
When we contacted the hotel's reception about it
And we showed them that the reservation listed two single beds, the clerk claimed that she had not seen such a reservation (the customer showed her the voucher itself), and there was no willingness on the part of the hotel to meet us.
After much deliberation and only after we raised the possibility before them, they were helpful in putting another bed in our room, which further increased the crowding in the room, and already made the stay in it unbearable.
2- There was only one closet in the room with no shelves at all, and because of the addition of the bed, access to it was impossible, so we had to leave the clothes in the suitcases, which served as a closet.
All our requests to change a room and to get a room that would match what was ordered were initially met with deaf ears, and with a noticeable unwillingness to help and assist.
3 - Only after two days in which we also involved our agent and the tourism company's customer service, and after many "crooked faces" and evasive excuses, which are completely contrary to what is clearly written in the original reservation, was he willing to change us a room.

Location is perfect: right in the center, next to metro station, close to old city bars and restaurants. Yet located on the side street, my room was facing the street and I didn't hear any noise. Friendly, efficient front desk. Good breakfast served in basement room. Hotel is not big, so no overcrowding during breakfast. Would stay again.

The hotel room was great-had a comfy bed, mini fridge, large enough bathroom and seating areas in the room. The front desk reception were always incredibly helpful and accommodating and made sure all of our questions were answered. We will definitely come back!
