Great hostel, great staff. It is in the middle of the Old Town, very, very close to all the cafe's, bars, clubs, restaurants, historical monuments, Parliament palace, next to most of the touristic objectives I believe.

At first the hostel might seem like a 9 but on a second thought, with recommendations from the hostel staff and the beauty as it is it adds up to a perfect 10. Especially thanks for Paul, multumesc pentru tot

We stayed here for three days, we were part of a theatre festival- the ten of us. 12 people in a room, but that’s something you kind of expect from a hostel. On the first night : loads of people drinking way over the limits of conscience in the reception lobby. The music was loud, people talking loud enough to be heard from the higher floors. That wasn’t even the worst part! The doors have passcodes, each supposedly unique. Still, during the same day, four people entered our room claiming they’ve been told it was theirs and wouldn’t leave. They’ve all been given the code to our room. A lady even walked into our room at 1:30 o’clock in the night, demanding we make space for her to sleep in our room because that’s what the receptionist told her. When we went to discuss it with the people working there, they were unaware of three different teenage theatre companies staying at their hostel, most of the actors being minors. Second night: music loud-yet again, but this time it was our room neighbours playing it. The doors between the rooms are closed but not locked and merely blocked by tiny depositary cubes stacked to something above hip level. People tried opening the doors between rooms multiple times. The mattresses on the beds felt more like toppers, they were very, very thin and the beds unstable and squeaky. We didn’t have curtains or heating, even though the temperatures outside were well under 10°C at night. We had two barely-functioning heaters to warm up that historical, tall room, which-as you can probably tell- didn’t do the trick. Honestly wouldn’t recommend!

The location and price of this hostel is amazing however, the cleanliness and quality of sleep was not. The room sleeps 8 people and on the same floor, there is a kitchen area and bathroom. The beds were very uncomfortable. The mattresses are only inches thick so I could feel all of the metal bars underneath. When we got to our room, the man who showed us there was unsure whether my friends blanket was someone else’s clothes or not which didn’t fill us with a lot of hope. The bathroom on this floor was disgusting. I was unsure of whether the toilet was leaking or if someone had missed but the floor was soaking the entire time. The sinks were blocked and the cubicle doors had gaps in them so you could see in. The staff were lovely and the price was amazing. I think if they got some new mattresses then it would have been much better.

This hostel is just in the core of the city near the major landmarks, the prices are the lowest in town. Sometimes can be noisy, but hey, Bucharest night life is amazing so you have all the pubs just down the street.

The hostel was clean and the staff was nice and helpful, the laundry service was good and affordable, and the WiFi was fast. The hostel is perfectly located in the center of the old town in Bucharest which makes it easy to get around. All in all, we had a good stay and will definitely come back.

I have stayed in a private room and it was super nice: big spacious room, great view, nice decor- very cute and romantic, private bathroom. The room was really warm even though outside was really cold. Perfect for a couple or for ones who love big beds.

Fantastic location, in middle of Old Town. Staff is friendly. Bunk beds in dorm rooms sag, easily "solvable" by putting planks below thin mattress, or buy new beds. Toilets and restrooms are clean, but faucets are falling apart: recaulk seals, or use bleach to lighten them. Kitchen is OK. Staff should lead by example by observing quiet hours, that is, turn music volume down, please.

First, the highlights: Very helpful staff. They were attentive, so so kind, and went the extra mile on many occasions, even offered chocolate and tea. Bar next to reception area so you can order a drink and hangout. Free WiFi. Nice hub for relaxing. Gorgeous views from every window. Bummer points: The toilets are in need of repair. One was even missing a lock on the door. Water pressure and plumbing wasn’t great in a few of the showers. Room was cold at night, beds were creaky. Several lockers were either missing keys or didn’t open, which was fixed during my stay. Windows could be sound proofed to block the street noise. Too many tables in the hub. I recommend more lounge chairs for relaxing instead.

The staff is great, friendly, helpful! Speak Russian and English and maybe other languages too. The location is great. Starbucks nearby! The bathrooms and beds need to be updated. But besides that, it’s a lovely experience!
