Caro Hotel was a great host for our 40th anniversary of the Bacalaureat (1982). Very fine atmosphere, very professional staff - Ramona, Ionela, Mihai and Calin. Eminescu hall was a wonderful place to meet, discuss, drink and dance. All was at Superlativ !!! We shall come back sometime !
Such an amazing experience at this wonderful gem in Bucharest! Beautiful hotel, great service, wonderful parks and gardens surrounding this place! Ramona went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and we will definitely be back! #beautifulplaces#Romanianvacation Experiența minunata, servicii extraordinare, un loc in care cu siguranța vom reveni cu plăcere! Mulțumim, Ramona, mulțumim Caro Hotel!❤️
This is the first place I choose when traveling to Bucharest. Large and clean rooms! (I think they renovated recently) In the evening one can stroll around the lake, go for a swim or hit the gym (a lot of options for free time). I had a long stay this year so I could even test the laundry service couple of times (good rates and fast delivery). The breakfast had a lot of options so I didn’t get bored. Glucoza restaurant was open with good food and decent prices. In the end I have to point out that the staff was amazing, from reception to cleaning all at their best. For example Bogdan (i think family name Creanga) from reception staff always had an answer to all my peculiar requests with a smile on his face while being professional. Again, amazing stay, good value for money!
I have found a cigarette in the toilet of non smoking room. I have been moved to another room full of dust and obviously not cleaned for a long time. When asked to be moved to the new section of the rooms as always during my stays in this hotel, the reply was that the hotel was fully booked so I had to spent the night in a room full of dust and hair with moldy bathtub.
I'll start off by going through the positives of our honeymoon visit. The Good - The hotel is large and well kept after with lovely staff - Rooms are a good size and have some smart tech - Beds are nice and comfortable - Free access to the Spa, Gym and Pool - Free bicycles - Reasonably priced and good restaurants within the hotel so you don't need to travel for food. - The location is fantastic with the Promenade mall and Aurel Vlaicu metro only a 10 minute walk. - Free WiFi handled everything we used it for - AC is customisable and when working was very good The Bad - Our room had a used ear cleaner and pill in the corner suggesting it hadnt been cleaned thoroughly and for the price you would expect it to be spotless. We raised this with the lovely lady on reception who rang somebody straight away to sort it out however they left the pill in the corner. - We requested the bed sheets be changed but the cleaners didn't change them as there was a mark on one of the sheets and pillow the whole stay. - One of the days one of the restaurant/bars was booked out for an event with no prior warning which was annoying as we wanted to try that. - The smart functionality of the rooms was buggy a number of times which meant we had to restart the tablet in order to get the AC working, other people staying didn't have this problem so maybe it was our room. - You need a swim cap and sandals to use the swimming pool but this isn't told to you before you walk all the way there. In conclusion We paid a premium and didn't get what we had hoped for I think we may have just been unlucky in a lot of ways and the hotel could be perfect with a little work eg. Putting up a sign saying if a restaurant is booked and the requirements for the pool. In our case the cleaners definetly needed to be more thorough. The staff were lovely and I think on another week we could have had a much better stay.…
A terrible experience during our stay at this hotel. I booked a standard room for one night. The receptionist offered us a miserable room with mold, dust, dirty toilet, a room that in my opinion should have been renovated. I explained these details to the receptionist but she wanted to tell us that we did not book a premium room. Even if I didn't book a premium room, that room had to be clean and refreshed. The attitude of the staff leaves much to be desired. A pretentious hotel that has no place in the hospitality industry. At any other 4 star hotel the staff certainly reacted differently to the ones I noticed. I will show some pictures in the following. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Amazing hotel, clean and modern, the size of the room is very generous ,the staff was super friendly and super location to reach to the airport or the city centre, very quite area wich is wow considering how busy Bucharest traffic is
The hotel is in a great location, staff are lovely, the grounds beautiful, rooms very modern. However two restaurants and bars were closed several times for private parties bit much as we were planning to eat at the hotel I felt we paid for the hotel with those bars and restaurants and we should have been able to use them. The pool area is used for public swimming lessons and exercise classes so tends to be busy we were told we could only use one lane. Also worth knowing swim hats are compulsory for men and women you are not told this till you get to the pool, they will sell you a hat for £12 though. The cleaner came once in five days although we asked for a room clean. Overall the hotel needs tweaking would I stay again possibly but I know not to use the pool or expect the restaurants and bars to be open.…
Such an amazing place with great food and very friendly staff members. I would definetly recommend it to anyone who is in the area. They have two nice reataurants with great food and decent prices. Also, the whole complex is very clean and it looks amazing.
This is a good hotel in Bucarest, with nice park, fantastic bar and restaurant. Breakfast was also good and people really kind. Large rooms and comfortable bed, in an elegant modern room. I will come back.
