So have recently come back from our trip to Bucharest, staying at the Capitol Hotel. The location is absolutely brilliant, right in the centre of the city, with the metro being a 5 minute walk away and near the old town. Lovely welcoming and friendly staff throughout our stay, and the building is gorgeous. The room was really good for...

We stayed there for three nights, and found it just the perfect place to stay in Bucharest. Location is perfect, just five minutes from the Old Town. Clean, spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, and it has the good old feeling of a traditional hotel. Renovated in 2015.

E. Europe is so cheap, but I would classify this is a mid-range hotel for the price. The hotel is in an excellent location. Just a few minutes from the Old Town, 5 minute walk from the 783 airport express bus stop, and about 15 minutes from the parliament palace. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Check-in was smooth and...

Had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The reception staff helped us book a trip to Draculas castle and also gave us useful information off how to get around the city. Always a smile and a welcome when entering the hotel etc. Our room was a superior on the 4th floor with...

I was housed here for a university conference — the university is very close. My room was a peculiarly shaped space carved out by someone to accomodate the elevator that it was next to (on the 3rd floor). There was no elevator noise, which I'd been afraid of. The room wasn't beautiful and was fairly small, but it was clean...

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. Our room was on the 5th floor. The room was warm, clean, with enough space for 2 people. We slept well as it was very quiet. Location is fantastic, 5 minute walk from the historic center. Reception staff was gentle and helpful. I believe it is a value for money hotel, in...

Staff are so helpful here. The location is just at the top of the Old Town, perfect. The room itself had a massive bed, only negative was some slightly tired wood. However, bathroom was brand new and very well kitted. A really great hotel

The hotel is in a good location. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The room itself was very small but adequate for us for 2 nights. The bathroom was ok but could use a deeper clean. For the price it was a very adequate hotel. Breakfast was good, lots of variety.
