Liad Motel is a great, sterile, affordable and well located establishment right near Bucharest's main artery. The rooms are perfect for those who want to get about quickly - get up, your stuff are right next to you and get out the door. The best part is the service, as each and every single one of the employees is wonderful... More

The strong point of Liad hotel is its location in the middle of Bucharest. The centre with all the cafes and restaurants are a mere five minutes walk away. There was free parking, the staff speak English and are very polite, the building is not spectacular but the rooms are big and pleasant, with a kitchen sink, TV and bathroom.... More

The hotel is in the very center of Bucharest but nevertheless cheap. Close to metro, bus etc. Despite being in the center it's on a small side street that's pretty quiet at night. The building itself looks horrible and scaring outside. Not like a hotel at all. Also, there are no signs indicating the hotel and for me it took... More

Small hotel. nothing exceptional. but was very clean. good sized rooms, spotless bathroom and shower. Wifi worked perfectly. staff with good English, very helpful, very nice. room rate I felt was good value. 12 minute walk to old town. Bars in old town very expensive €2.50 for a drink, food also expensive when compared to non tourist areas. Taxi drivers... More

A very welcome surprise to find this. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was big and comfortable. The roads immediately surrounding the hotel look a bit dodgy but it's actually fine and it's so close to the old town bar and restaurant area, major squares etc. We could easily walk wherever we needed to.

We had arranged an early check in and everything was ready for us. The staff were really helpful and made us feel at home. The room was lovely and the little kitchen area was really useful. On the second day they gave us a bottle of fizz, chocolates, roses and arranged our towels into swans to congratulate us on our... More

I had a pleasant experience at Liad Hotel. As feedback to improve services, I believe that should be signaled in an illuminated exterior. Overall I was pleased with the service received here. I recommend it!

The hotel is pretty much 100 meters off the main road going through Bucharest, really close to the Universitate metro station and pretty much had some shops just around the corner. The staff were extremely polite and helpful during the stay. The room had a large, fairly comfy bed and had an awesome massage shower. There was also a TV... More

very central, few minutes away from Universitate Metro station. clean and comfortable. although there is a bar on the 6th floor, just above the rooms, there was a little noise (music), but not to disturb. some slippers were good to have, as there is grit-stone on the floor, no carpets. a bigger sign outside would be nice, as it is... I travelled with my mother to Bucharest and we found this motel in the center of the city. We were looking for a humble 2 or 3 stars motel for a single night. The motel has a lot of potential but it is poorly maintained. We got a large room with a shower for 40 euros per night. GOOD: The... More
