The hotel is in the best location in Bucharest, right in the Old City. In normal times this is THE location to be in night time and weekends. The staff at the reception and restaurant are very friendly and helpful, the room spacious and well equipped. First stay but definitely not the last. This one goes to favorites.

The hotel stuff are very friendly, accomodating and they all speak English. Rooms are very clean with a very lovely view towards the historical city. The location of the hotel is right in the heart of Bucharest and offers a very unique atmosphere for everyone who would like to enjoy a good meal along with a glass of wine. Special thanks to all the stuff who looked after me and my well being.

I never thought I would ever get to live in a hotel for a month but I am glad I did. For my trip to Bucharest, I had initially booked an apartment which did not meet the advertised standards, was quite far from it. I had to find alternative accommodation right away, in the middle of the night - it must have been about 2am when I checked in here. I found this beautiful classic hotel, which had good reviews online. I found the hotel staff to be incredibly helpful. I arrived here at 1am in the morning, initially planning to book one night. I found out I could actually negotiate a month stay. I was offered an excellent deal by reception. When I saw the suite I could book, I could simply not say no. I have been impressed with the facilities, décor and location. I had a separate room with a desk and sofa/ coffee table which I used as my office. I also had friends visit which was handy, given that most indoor facilities and restaurants were not open. The hotel has excellent broadband connection and working from home (aka hotel room) works perfectly. The restaurant is not open all the time but opposite the hotel, there is a traditional Romanian restaurant with excellent food. There are plenty of opportunities for restaurant/ coffee bars and most also deliver. I loved it so much that have now decided to book a further 6 weeks and stay in the same room. Thank you Alex, Robert and everyone else (reception/ restaurant/ house cleaning. See you soon!
