Really pleased that we found this hotel. We stayed there for 4 nights, while on a short vacation in Bucharest. It's within walking distance from the city center, in a (what it seemed) good and quiet neighborhood. The receptionists and waiters were always willing to help us in any way. The breakfast there is amazing and so is food. The... More

I booked two nights at Zava Boutique Hotel. When I asked them whether they could book airport transfer for me, they offered to arrange one for 50 EUR. I know that airport transfers from the airport should never ever cost more than 15 - 20 EUR. Uber costs 10 EUR. We found this so unfair and immoral that we decided... More

Zava hotel is in a quiet old neighbourhood not far from Bucharest city centre (about 15-20 minutes on foot), and the region itself has a plenty of biuldings from the beginning till the mid 20th century, so it's proper for architecture lovers. The hotel is in a beautiful historical biulding and has cozy clean rooms. The ladies at the reception... More

This little gem of a hotel is built like a cheese wedge with the pointy bit greeting the confluence of 5 roads. We were on the first floor of the hotel , with a spacious room with balconies either side of the point. A picturesque church and gardens were diagonally across the (small) junction from us. The accommodation was very... More

This hotel is off the beaten track, however it is located in a nice neighbourhood. Our room was really small but very clean. Some staff were friendly but not all of them. Whenever I asked them how to get from A to B, all they suggest is a taxi, while I am sure you can get transport within a short... More

The fact that it is a split hotel with some rooms across the road should be explained when booking. As it happened it did mean that I was on the ground floor - well almost as there are steps up to the front door. However not a nice feeling as the only one in the building and a front door... More

This is a really corny (meant in the best possible way!) boutique hotel. It is utterly charming and so are the staff. The rooms have everything you need, and the staff will do everything to make sure you enjoy your stay. It is not brand new, but it is not run down either. It is located close to the city... More
