One of the most comfortable stay we have had in recent times. In fact our stay in Bucharest was worthwhile because of the comfortable stay in Good Living. The apartment has been tastefully designed with utmost care to provide the guests with maximum comfort. Everything that one may need has been provided. In addition there is a proper common kitchen & dining area along with a good range of books & games. Though there are supplies of basic food items (chargeable) in the apartment, a 24x7 supermarket is at a walking distance of 5 mins. It's very convenient & cost effective to get to the city centre by a tram; stop is also 5 mins away from the apartment. Special mention of Maurice who was extremely helpful & hospitable. He even upgraded us to duplex apartment which had living room + kitchen on the upper floor & bedroom on the lower one. He was extremely helpful in making us comfortable at the apartment & assisted us with information pertaining to getting around in the city, purchasing sim card, currency exchange, food, sightseeing, etc.…
Accomodation with an historical touch, very close to the center of the city. Despite the fact that it is in a nonhotelier zone, you will benefit from all the services of that type. Uber are available, also a few restaurants close to the location.
Lovely rooms in this apartment house.Clean, comfortable bed, good heating in the winter.Access to a fully equipped kitchen. Some rooms have their own kitchenette. Host and housekeeper lady very friendly. Stayed 3 times already and will stay again every time traveling to Bucharest. Close to public transport, close to Parlament and Unirii Square. Great value.
A truly unique gem in one of the best areas of the city. Generous spaces, great taste and highest quality makes this a luxury accommodation that has little resemblance with the typical high end hotel and instead delivers a personal boutique experience. I came here first time in March 2018 and was amazed with both the place and the service. I came back in November and stayed in the apartment for 10 days and felt like home, but with regular (and impeccable!) room service. The first day I was amazed to find all my stuff nicely shelved in the closet and the entire place impeccable. If you get a chance to meet the owners you'll see they are likely the most dedicated, accommodating and nice hotel owners you've met :). I'll come back every time!
This is really a fantastic place. Large, clean, and beautiful room, charming patio, large and very nice common space (with free tea and coffee, dishes and all that you need). In a quiet neighbourhood, but close to the centre. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful (we arrived significantly earlier but could leave our luggage).
We stayed for 5 nights in November. The hotel exceeded our expectations! The historic home has been lovingly restored with tasteful furnishings and the bed was the most comfortable mattress since we began our travels in June! The hosts were welcoming and attentive, restocking our fridge, an extra pillow, and tidying our suite half way through our stay. The location is ideal for visiting the old town, parliament and many museums. We would highly recommend!
I have traveled the world on 6 continents in the past 15 years, staying in hotels, bed and breakfasts, homes of friends and strangers. Old houses, new houses, caves, huts, containers and tents. This house in Bucharest is definitely in the best top 3 for me. The place offers simplicity, perfect functionality, respect for sustainability, healthy comfort and even an electric piano. Having only outstanding reviews is doubtful this days but this place is more than real. The location is perfect, close to apparently one of the most beautiful parks in Bucharest and at walking distance to the centre of the city. We walked around everywhere though taxies are also cheep and if no traffic you reach the other side of the centre within 5-6 minutes. Suitable also for family with kids. The available local made products for sale make the experience complete. We had a wonderful time and if we come back to Bucharest this will be the place to be.…
I stayed from 4th-8th July and was so impressed. The ensuite rooms are divinely stylish, extremely comfortable, spacious, quiet. The bathrooms were spotless and I had a free-standing bath which was a bonus. The kitchen had every possible amenity plus more, and a fully stocked fridge from which you can buy water, juice, beer etc. Our hosts could not have been friendlier, more attentive or more knowledgeable about the city -- they were always available to answer our queries and were just exceptional. I will definitely come back and would recommend Good Living without hesitation to anyone visiting beautiful Bucharest.
We visited on 10-11 of June, apartments beautiful, designed, clean, perfect shower, WiFi, conditioner, secured entrance, cameras also looking on parking on street, space is secured, very quite place. Owner speak English very good, also were given instruction about area( map was given), also small kitchen, on the terrace is place for bbq and table for 5 people. Shop in 3 minutes 24/7, also a lot cafe/restaurants near. Parking free. As privacy not publishing photo from room( u can check on booking)
We stayed for a month at Good Living and miss it often. It's a beautiful old building that has been renovated. It has been updated with all modern comforts while maintaining a lovely old-world style. Our suite had beautiful hardwood floors, a kitchenette with gorgeous blue tile, comfortable and sleek furniture, a huge bathtub, carefully appointed lighting and light fixtures throughout, large windows with velvet curtains.....every time we walked in we sighed with happiness. There is also a large, shared full-service kitchen and lounge area for all the guests to use. We enjoyed cooking many nice dinners there and eating at the big wood table that often had fresh flowers on it. The owners were very friendly and helpful as well as well traveled and interesting to talk with. They even invited us to celebrate the Romanian Mucenici holiday with them which we really enjoyed. The location is prime, within walking distance of Old Town where many of the popular restaurants and bars are, and the astounding Palace of the Parliament. Staying at Good Living made our trip to Bucharest fantastic! We will definitely return if we are in Bucharest again.…
