I don't know how this hotel still holds to the 4 star standard. My room was dusty, super hot, nightstands had only one light bulb working (they are ice-flower shaped), hot tub not working, elevator makes weird noises and seems like it needs a revision. Did not have breakfast, but ordered an omelette and a coffee, did not receive a...

Overall rating is "wouldn't return". Bad shower, poor breakfast and the personnel was shouting and had a bad attitude among themselves (not so great towards the clients either). Old furniture, but big enough room. They were kind enough though to keep my baggage until the room was clear to check in. ...4*? Not quite.

The hotel itself on first impressions were Ok. Check in was smooth and we proceeded to our rooms. They were old, dark and dated. The rooms were extremely hot and the only window opened only a small amount so no air could circulate. We struggled to sleep due to the heat and there appeared to be no radiators in the...

I was near one of the top floors and had a great view of the city. However, that was about it. The bed are like sleeping on a box spring (or piece of plywood) with thin blankets. The heat would not turn off in the room and we roasted! We opened the window, but it would not stay open and...

Looking forward to a nourishing breakfast to fuel your tour of Bucharest? Then check in elsewhere. After checking out the dispiriting fare on offer in the breakfast room we headed down the street for a coffee shop. Hotter and safer! As for the rooms....well, tired would be a generous description. Ditto the service. Nowhere near four star.

We had two nights here as a recce for a rugby tour for 40 tourists next spring. Interesting hotel. Looks sharp from the outside but tired inside. Staff were OK. Michael on the front desk very helpful. Breakfast was interesting. We looked at it then skipped both days.

Not really a 4 star hotel, the location is good but the room was not prepared accordingly, no blanket on the bed... We had to make the bed ourselves... no shower cap, no slippers, no shower gel or lotion...The breakfast was hilarious... Poor looking...no fresh fruits, the coffe was good... The only positive memory I have is the view...

We stayed here as part of a tour - it was our first night and departure point, so we didn't really have a choice in the matter. It was, however, advertised as a 4 star so I expected a decent hotel. This place fell very short of my expectations. I think I have fairly low ones to begin with but...

This hotel is in a good location for the old town if you are visiting as a tourist. I stayed for 5 days on business with a limited amount of time in the hotel. The room I had was clean and functional. The bathroom was a disappointment as the spa bath did not work however there was plenty of hot...
