The hotel is well-located right in the old town of Bucharest - the best area to stay for all the bars and walking distance to the Parliamentary Palace. Despite being right among the nightlife I didn't notice it was too noisy in the room at night. The rooms are each individually decorated according to a theme. We stayed in the nautical room which was wonderful - very spacious and it had a nice big bath. The staff there were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed.
Our family of five just had an incredible experience at the Mansion Boutique Hotel. We were there to drop our oldest son off for a summer internship. OK, so the rooms and location are unbeatable--they are gorgeous, interesting, and impeccably clean. But what's even better is the staff. From the second we checked in until the moment we left, they were unbelievably helpful and friendly (but never once intrusive or pushy). They helped us with advice and reservations with everything we needed--a laundry service, touring the parliament building, etc. And get this, our oldest son wanted a bathroom scale, but we couldn't find one at the local Carrefour (kind of like a Super Target). So, Christian, who may be one of the managers, said he would buy him one when he was out doing his own personal errands in the evening. He did it! He purchased a scale and brought it back to work with him. If that's not going "above and beyond" then I don't know what is. And, the hospitality also extends to the site restaurant, Il Peccato. TWICE they made room for us when we hadn't made a reservation and they were fully booked. So accommodating, and the food there is fabulous. As for the rooms themselves, my husband and I were in one of the French rooms (the one with a balcony overlooking the street--so fun--and the best ice cream shop), and our kids were in the Gothic Room, which was hilarious since they are nineteen year old twin guys and the room is hot pink and black with gilt everything. Our oldest son stayed in the Industrial Room which was also neat. The bottom line is that we could not have asked for a better place from which to explore Bucharest, a place we never really pictured visiting until our son got an internship there. Thanks Mansion Boutique Hotel (and Christian).…
Simply superb from any angle. Thank you for all hospitality The marine themed room was very stylish and decoration was unique. The staff was super friendly, and helped me in all my requests with a smile.
Fabulous hotel, great staff, great service. Highly recommended!!! Also, great location in the centre of the Old City, so there were many options for meals and entertainment, all walking distance!!! All around, fantastic!!! Enjoy!!!
We stayed at this hotel at the start and end of our transylvania tour. Both rooms were absolutely stunning. But the service is beyond all expectations. The service is so special I would come back to bucharest just for the mansion. I really love this hotel and can't recommend d it enough for quality, price and service. And I personally thank the management for giving us the gothic room upon seeing our gothic look!
We recently stayed in the Morrocan Room in The Boutique Mansion Hotel for two nights in Bucharest, Romania. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet. Great AC and the bathroom was Lovely! Old style solid brass plumbing faucets lead authenticity to the room as well as original Morrocan furniture. The staff was attentive and helpful. At the end of the stay, one of the managers actually walked us a block to the Uber stop, carrying our suitcases for me.
Such a beautiful hotel, spacious, very clean, excellent location in the old town, excellent Italian restaurant attached. The staff are just so helpful and wonderful, you really do get the 'boutique' feel. It's incredible value for money, the mini bar is very reasonably priced and lots of places to visit nearby. Perfect location for exploring Bucharest on foot!
The Room was excellent, but the staff were incredibly helpful. They helped me with tourism needs but also with every single thing I needed help with. They went beyond what your regular staff does in terms of service. They provided me with an adaptor, they provided me with a map and outlined where things were located on it, they called taxis and booked arrangements for me, they helped me in many other ways as well and were very patient. They also all spoke English well which was really helpful. The room gets cleaned every day and the tea and coffee resupplied. Underneath is an Italian Restaurant that is pretty good. The Wifi was also really good and the room clean and spacious. The perfect place to stay at.
The hotel is in the old section of Bucharest and is newly renovated. The rooms are large with each having its own theme. I was in the France room and felt like I was there. The staff are wonderful to work with and answered all myquestions. They arranged my trip from the airport, my tours during my stay and the onward travel at the end of my visit. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent and I ended up eating all my meals there. I highly recommend a stay here.
Hotel is a lovely surprise in the heart of the old city. Rooms are a good size and individually designed, so each is quirky and different. Wifi is fast, showers are hot, staff are friendly and keen to assist. No lift, though only 2 floors, you will need to be able to manage the stairs. Restaurant is Italian and is tasty! Didn't have breakfast in hotel, went out to find our own, so can't comment on that.
