Tiny kitchen, but is has what you need to cook basic meals; just hope no one else is cooking at the same time. Very friendly staff who have good recommandations for stuff to visit on the map and bars to hangout. Clean rooms. Air conditioning.

The Hostel : Easy to find. Easily accessible with tram n° 6 (4 HRK) from bus/train station, otherwise a 20 minutes walk. Located on the 3rd floor (no elevator). I was greeted by Marko who was very friendly and super helpful. Luckily I was able to check in very early in the morning which gave me the chance to change, rest a little and start my day around Zagreb really early. The hostel is pretty small, only 6 rooms. There is a kitchen also available for you. The hostel is only a few minutes away from the center of town with parks nearby. Great location. The Room : It was exactly like seen on the pictures. Private room (36 EUR/Night) with private bathroom and court view. The room was therefore very quiet except you are literaly next to the kitchen so except to hear other guests. I however only heard one person for 2 minutes roughly so I was not bothered. Great shower with a lot of pressure...almost too much. Lots of TV channels, great WIFI. An AC would have been nice but it was fine during my stay (late April). Great stay and great value for money. I recommend.

We stayed in a dorm that was perfectly clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were plenty and also fairly clean. The only negative is that there are no lockers, not even with extra payment. Still, not a big problem for a one night. Keep up the good work!

We stumbled upon Old Lab in a final attempt to find a home in Zagreb (an extremely busy weekend in December). What a stroke of luck.We were greeted by Marina who turned out to be one of the kindest people I have ever met. She gave us tips, helped us with our luggage and checked us in quickly and efficiently. The hostel's location is walking distance to the main square and our private room was huge (for a good price) with its own bathroom, a couch and small television; the bed was also very comfortable. The whole place is impeccably clean and close to bars, restaurants, you name it. Would love to stay again next time I am in Zagreb.

Hostel Old Lab is few minutes walk from Main Railway Station, not so far away from Gradac and Kaptol. The rooms are ok, kitchen maybe is too smal and there is no exact place where to sit and eat, but when I was in hostel there were not so many guests so it wasn't a problem. Working crew is great, they are very helpfull and You can talk with them about everything. I spent there great 3 days1 Thank You :)
