Many others have already said it, but the receptionists Sandra and Damien were absolutely the best thing about this hostel. They are friendly, super-helpful and excellent to have a chat with. I even got bought a shot of the local honey brandy for my birthday! The location is also unbelievable - an Olympic shotputter's throw would land right in the... More

Great hostel with brilliant staff. An excellent location with all the main bars and sights nearby. All the rooms have lockers, there's a nice size kitchen and good wifi throughout. Sandra the receptionist was a terrific host and did a good job of introducing guests to one another. Very friendly atmosphere and a memorable stay. If you're either an independent... More

Location is wonderful; this is the closest to the centrum you can possibly stay in. Kitchen and the common room are big and clean but they are closed between 23:00 - 7:00. Beds in the 10-bed dorm are slightly uncomfortable and if the room is full of people it is really hard to even find place for your backpack. But... More

First I want to say how friendly the staff were at Fulir - especially Sandra, who went out of her way to help us find what we needed and introduce us to other people at the hostel. The atmosphere at Fulir is really good. We had problems sleeping because the 10 bed dorm where we stayed felt very overcrowded. Beds... More

Really enjoyed our stay here, it is so close to the main train station and literally one minute from the main square. The staff were so friendly and helpful, there is a kitchen and a lounge area with a tele to chill out, also free wifi. The rooms were clean too. This hostel is also just round the corner to... More

I found this hostel thanks to a another hostel owner who was full and could not provide accomodation. The hostel is in an inner yard of an old building and the feeling you get feets exactly the spirit of Zagreb. Leo the owner is really involved in the management of the facility and I am positive that for him helping... More

Leo was incredibly helpful with the reservation and directions from the moment I booked the hostel. Both Damien and Sandra were incredibly friendly and fun. I would definitely head back there next time in Zagreb as the place was clean, unbelievable location, and pretty quiet (I stayed in 5 person room). This place is a must!

Arrived in Zagreb about midday and refered to my lonely planet, this hosel was in ther so I though I'd check it out. Although it was before check in time the friendly receptionist booked me and showed me around. Great value (100KN-£9) however this was low season (March). the location of the Hostel couldnt be better; pretty much on the... More

I have stayed at Fulir Hostel twice. The first time was so great (a weekend) that I came back there to work during the summer. The hosts are really nice, and gives you good advice on what to do, where to go and where to eat. It is really in the city center, but It's in a court yard, so... More

Fulir is as most have said so close to the centre of town it is obscene, it's well worth noting though that it is also very quiet (so you can get some rest if you need it) even with a bar below! I have seen most of the other hostels in Zagreb and they really don't compare. The staff are... More
