Great location right by the main square. Close to all tourist attractions, bars and restaurants. Was greeted by the host on arrival. Friendly and welcoming host. Also a nice little friendly bar just beneath the apartment.
The location was optimum, right in the heart of downtown with everything within walking distance and the tram station in the Square takes you everywhere. Tin the owner was extremely helpful and friendly. It’s ideal for short stays and Zagreb passers-by.
The best thing about this guesthouse is the wonderful location - so close to everything. Water hot with good pressure, linen clean, bed comfortable but pillow a bit lumpy. Room, bathroom and toilet all very small, building old and tired. Helpful hostess, very good price. For me, the most difficult thing was the noise from the bar downstairs that went on into the early hours of the morning (Friday morning), and the bright light shining in through the window. But for one or two nights, especially if you are a night owl or heavy sleeper, then it would be fine. Rooms up a circular staircase, bakeries, shops, banks, tourist information all nearby.
Very cheap place to stay. Big rooms and great location. Owner is very helpful and carry your things. It could be a bit cleaner but its ok. It is just an old place. There is even bar downstair. And the apartment has washing machine which is good.
This place is close to everything , attraction , to museum , 30 sec to centar , clean and friendly , TIN the owner is trying to help you the best he can ! located in the centar of Zagreb ! you will like it whatever is room or studio location !
Location ideal for visit to Zabreb with easy transportation connections. Many food options (small grocery, bakeries, cafes and cheap restaurants) nearby. I emailed the owner about our approximate arrival time and he was waiting for us on the street and he gave us a map and lots of helpful tourist info. Free WiFi worked fine. The room was cheap--only € 22.50 a night for a double, so I can overlook that the room is a bit scrappy and if not 100% clean, it was clean enough.
We stayed here in August just before heading home from a three and a half week holiday around South East Europe. We were welcomed warmly by Tin, the owner, who showed us around our room and explained how the air-con, tv, blinds etc. worked. Then Tin spent time showing us the highlights of Zagreb on a map. He was very knowledgeable about the city and what tourists may want to see. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a separate, private shower and toilet. The beds were spotless and had fresh linen on them. The location was excellent, just a stone's throw away from the main square and most of the sites. Great value - highly recommended!
Nice appartment at 100mtrs from main square. really helpfull owner who showed al the hotspots on a free map. aircon working perfectly! If you don't need al the hotel luxouries go to lessi. 5 min walk to the tkracice ulica where all the bars are!
Review for the apartment Positive things: - great location, in historical centre - close to many bars and stores - spacious apartment (easily for 3-4 guests) - cheap - friendly and helpeful owner - good wi-fi connection - even when outside was snowing and was pretty cold, the apartment was well heated Downsides: - no parking space (we recommend to park at Kaptol centre ~110 Kuna for 48 hours = something like 15 Euro, 10 minutes walk to the apartment) - the kitchenette is good only for small breakfasts, coffee or tea (but you have many restaurants and fast foods nearby) - old furniture and sanitary objects, but in general clean
Located right in the heart of Zagreb, this place is a little hard to find, and there is walking involved, but worth the effort. I stayed in the private room which is simple, and a little run down, but clean and comfortable. The owner Tin met me, and gave a quick run down of the sights of Zagreb and a walking tour guide. A nice touch was that I had walked a fair distance to get there as I was unsure of the trams, and Tin not only told me which tram to catch to get back to the station (the number 6) but also gave me a ticket for it. Thanks Tin
