Detailed Reviews
We have stayed in this hotel several times.
It has an excellent location in the city center but is, at the same time, very quiet.
They have a free, secured parking lot very near the hotel which is included in the price of your stay.
So is breakfast which is of high quality and has lots of cold and warm choices and very friendly and swift service that prepares you excellent coffee. All staff is very kind and helpful by the way.
I can only recommend this hotel and we will be back on our next visit to Zagreb as well.
Thank you Jagerhorn Team for a very pleasant stay!

We recently stayed one night at the Hotel Jagerhorn. This is a beautiful boutique hotel with historical significance, in the heart of Old Town. Our room was relatively small but had the necessary amenities. The bathroom was large and beautifully updated. The hotel arranged airport pick up for us at a great rate and they also arranged for us to be dropped off at the bus terminal the next day. All of the staff were kind and welcoming. The location of the hotel is PERFECT for exploring all the main attractions in Old Town and is also close to several restaurants. Breakfast is served in a nice garden area outside of the main hotel building. The stairs leading up the path from the breakfast area will take you directly to Lotrščak Tower which offers fantastic views over the city.

Dear Jasmine D, thank you for being our guest and sharing your marvelous review. You summarized it perfectly - we do have a fantastic location in the very heart of our beautiful capital, so close to the hustle and bustle of the city, yet so very private and serene at the same time. Your lovely and detailed description provides fantastic insight into some of our very special hotel amenities. We’re so pleased to read that you enjoyed breakfast so much. We must agree that it is a meal not to be missed during a stay at Jagerhorn. We very much hope to welcome you back again soon. All the best from Jagerhorn team, Davor Doronjga Front office

+1
We have visited the hotel for one night during August and it was a great choice. It is a nice boutique hotel, quiet and clean. We had a room at the 2nd floor which was nicely decorated and had all the facilities we needed: comfy bed, tea and coffee facilities, mini fridge, nice shower with good water pressure. We had also breakfast and you can choose 2 options out of the 4: eggs cooked as you like, cold cuts, croissants and jam. The espresso and orange juice were both great. Parking of the car is done on Varsavcka street and is free of charge, minutes away from the hotel. Being a central hotel you have plenty of restaurants and bars around, banks or stores. It was a great stay and don’t miss St. Mark’s church if you decide to choose this hotel.

The hotel is located very close to the Ban Jelačić Square, offering the perfect location for experiencing the city shopping and night life. There is free parking with a secure gate a couple of blocks away. The only downside to that is having to bring your luggage but the hotel provided a luggage cart and assisted up the stairs to our room- there is no elevator and its a short flight of steps. The ambiance is very nice and the staff are very accommodating, and the branding is on point! (shoutout to Mr. D. for exceptional service and comic relief!) I don't have much experience with Europe but the rooms seemed small and narrow in that fashion but fairly comfortable nonetheless. The shower pressure was great and the hotel provided amenities. There isn't much chance of sleeping in late if you are a light sleeper but its worth getting up early for a fresh breakfast here on the beautiful terrace!

Great location - central and quiet at the same time, cause it is located in a narrow pedestrian road which begins on the main road.
We loved the breakfast in the back garden. Especially freshly pressed orange juice and homemade croissants.

We stayed here for two nights in January 2023.
From the airport it was about 15-20 minutes by taxi. The hotel is on a pedestrian street with trams only, so the taxi left us at the corner and we walked for about 100 metres. This was not a huge disadvantage, but it would not be pleasant in the rain and snow.
Despite that, the location of the hotel is superb. It is in the middle of everything in the Zagreb city centre - you couldn't do better. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars around and it's about 30 seconds to the funicular.
There is no elevator in the hotel, so we had to carry our suitcases up two flights of stairs. Our room was at the back of the hotel and, unfortunately, it overlooked the inner courtyard, so it was noisy at night up until about 10:30pm with music and the noise of people drinking, eating, and talking. That was not very pleasant.
The room itself was clean with a huge bathroom, including a bath. The room itself was on the small side, ie not much room left around the bed. Our room had a sloping ceiling, so that removed useable space and we were always having to be careful to watch our heads. The room had a safe and jug for boiling water for tea and coffee. I couldn't find an iron and ironing board.
The buffet breakfast was adequate, although there could have been more selection. For example, there was no toast.
Overall, the hotel is fairly well maintained and decorated, although I would agree with other comments that the carpet on the stairs and hallway needs replacement.
At the end of our stay, we walked 100 metres to the corner and ordered an Uber to the bus station. That took about ten minutes and cost just over 6 Euros.
We would stay here again for the location, although not if we were carrying large suitcases again, as the lack of a lift was a real disadvantage - but no problem if you're travelling light. Definitely ask for a room that does not overlook the inner courtyard.

I just stayed here in a suite for two nights. Overall I liked the place and thought it was a good value.
The rooms and bathroom were in good condition and very spacious. There were very few tv channels, however, and no English-speaking ones. Also, the room was too hot and the thermostat wouldn’t reduce the temperature (day and night).
Front desk staff were very helpful.
The breakfast was reasonably good - mostly cold items with 2 or 3 hot items.
Location is very good. We were close to everything.
The place isn’t perfect but I would probably stay here again if I return to Zagreb.

I would recommend Hotel Jagerhorn as a place to stay in Zagreb. Delightful hotel in the center of the city. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The rooms are very good value for a city center hotel. Despite being a city center hotel it is set back from the busy main street of Zagreb in a quiet oasis of its own. Breakfast was very good, with a quiet secluded terrace and the hotel has its own coffee house and bar area, inside and out. Perfect for a weekend break as we enjoyed

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights upon our arrival in Croatia and again on our last night. The level of service from the hotel was exceptional.
My daughter lost her mobile phone in the taxi we took to get to the hotel and the girl at the desk was amazing in helping us to get it back!
The hotel's location can not be beaten! they are in the heart of the city with easy access to everything!
Having said that you need to take into consideration that the street in front of the hotel is not accessible to cars and therefore you need to walk to get to it which is not always easy if you have a lot of luggage. It also does not have an elevator.
They arranged for a taxi to be waiting for us at the airport which cost only 110kn as they have an agreement with the taxi company. It was the same upon our departure we took a taxi from the hotel to the airport and it only cost 100kn.
If you rent a car the hotel offers free parking for the guests.

About 25 minutes by taxi. The hotel is in a pedestrian only zone so you will be dropped off a short walk from the hotel.
Hi. Easy. Send an email to the Jagerhorn Hotel with your flight and expected arrival time. The taxi driver will monitor your arrival time and pick you up accordingly.
