I stayed at the Anastasia Suites for seven days. Everything about my stay there exceeded my expectations. The room was quiet and nicely appointed. The breakfasts were delicious and hearty. The access to the tram lines in Zagreb was extremely handy. The mix of other travelers that I met at breakfast was an added bonus to my stay. But what I will remember most about my stay at the Anastasia Suites was Drazen, the owner of the Suites. My wife had broken her leg in a cycling accident in Zagreb. I was staying at the Suites until my wife was released from the hospital. This was a hard time for my wife and myself. Drazen went out of his way to help us during this time. He took me to the hospital on the day of my wife's surgery. He provided instructions on how to use the tram lines to get to the hospital.s. He bought me tram tickets. He took me to the airport at 3 AM in the morning to meet my wife who was traveling to the airport by ambulance. Drazen did everything he could to help us. My wife and I are very grateful for Drazen's generosity.

My wife and I had an amazing experience exploring Zagreb with Drazen in his vespa tuk-tuk. We entered places inaccessible for normal traffic, took breaks whenever we needed a great photo or a sip of coffee. Best of all was Drazen’s guidance, especially some curiosities from his interesting life. We felt privileged when he adapted our route and places to see as we went along. It felt spontaneous and bespoke, which is a rareness in today’s conveyor world.

Our family of 4 stayed in the "Rustico" suite on the top floor for 3 nights. It was delightfully appointed & suited us in every way. The hospitality of the owner, Drazen, and his team - including Coco - was terrific and we really felt grateful that we chose this place. The breakfasts were exceptional and we highly recommend Anastasia Suites to any visitor to Zagreb. Thanks very much from Terry, Fiona & family.

Thank you very much for kind words, it was truly a pleasure to host some real professionals from our sector and being so satisfied. As a matter of fact, Anastasia is more oriented to experienced travellers ( business or pleasure) than individuals searching for cheapest options. If you take a look on our photos, experienced traveller will understand everything.

Quiet, cosy, well located. Easy walking distance to the Old Town. Tasty breakfast. Parking isn’t free. Beds sag which wouldn’t suit people with back issues. Air con works well but is so noisy it woke us both up multiple times during the night so not recommended if you are a light sleeper. The owner has a gorgeous cockatoo which joins you for breakfast. Great local restaurant recommendations. Host is friendly and helpful.

Nice to hear such comments, giving future travellers more insights from your part of story. Our parking fee is designed as repellent to one- night seekers for cheapest options and is working very well. Anastasia is not looking anymore to have all possible visitors but is more oriented to experienced senior travellers / business visitors who know what & where to search, and specially, to read between the lines.

A villa with small and bigger studios, pension-style, all equipped with amenities and a small kitchen corner. Our room was comfy and super-clean. We liked the nice host and his white Australian cockatoo in the breakfast room. Good breakfast! Excellent value for money - happy to return!

It is pleasure for us to hear such a nice words! Anastasia is designed for customers travelling very often so they are not anymore impressed with hotel services- sterility of service and complete anonimity. We are here to have nice time with you in some cozy friendly atmosphere. These are our values which can not be so easily described or counted in metric values. So filters on big internet search engines are not of much use- our best values is spread of mouth.

Great breakfast made to your personal liking, good and clean 2 bedroom apartment. Parking available nearby, two minutes walking. Town center is about 20 to 30 minutes walk with lots of small shops along the way. We stayed two nights in the two bedroom apartment. It is not very large but doesn't feel cramped at all. Not sure if that would also be the case if there were four not related adults, but for a family with two little kids even bigger kids it should be fine. Keep in mind that you have to carry your bags up two flights of stairs. Excellent private tour provided by the owner in a tuk tuk.
