Pros: Walking distance to main square is no longer than 9 minutes which is really convinient, cleanlisness of rooms and facilities is good, nice breakfast with plenty of options, comfy beds and pillows, good air-con in room, 24q7 reception service.
Cons: no elevators at all, and in my room (#19) there were also steps inside as well. this should be mentioned while booking, it's critical for people with difficulties walking up and down. In my specific room you could hear the rooms above (#14 0r #15) really loud, felt like they were practically in my room with me. Also, because room 19 is basically the roof of the building, there's winds that cause a lot of vibrations that could disrupt your sleep. I don't know if it's like that in other rooms as well.
Some staff memebers aren't really eager to help with recommendations directions in the city. They are nice and friendly , but I hoped they'd help me with suggestions, in the end the best tips were from the guides I went on tours with. I do give them credit for asking the room above me to quiet down when they were too loud.

If you happen to have a room on the third floor and you have a lot of luggage you are fried! Below is priceless, however close to the center.
Decent rooms like the
Breakfast. Sandpaper towels.
So if you arrive by train and you have little luggage ok, otherwise avoid.

Correct hotel, good breakfast, good location to see the historical part of Zagreb, very attentive staff. Spacious room had an electric kettle, which I find very useful, and they provided complimentary coffee and tea. The entrance is very ugly and uncomfortable.

Just returned after a 3 ( unfortunately) night stay at the Art Hotel Like (not). One of the most frustrating hotel experiences I' ve had. I won't complain about the tram noise or the absence of elevator - I was aware of these beforehand.
But : what can I say about the horrible entrance ,which reminds more of a garage/parking and certainly not a hotel. Going up ,on the first floor where the reception is you can see piles of linen& towels ,clean or dirty stowed on the stairs. What a welcoming spectacle!
The room : (no 10). Total absence of insulation- paper thin walls:I could clearly hear people next room chatting ,screaming ,crying. The rooms walls were stained and dirty( even noticed dead insects on the wall, nobody bothered to remove and clean),the linen and towels dated and worn out ,the curtains hanging shabbily.
Breakfast : most things were tasteless and therefore inedible. The worst ,was absence of bakery products! In a city where you can see bakeries in every corner with a variety of fine products the only thing that the hotel served was one type of plain ,usually stale bread .
To sum up: for a hotel that charges about 100 EUR/night I would expect much more. Honestly, this experience ruined a lot of my journey in Zagreb.
Wouldn't recommend it ,obviously.

Firstly they put me in a room with 2 small beds, but I have done a reservations for a single large bed room which was more expensive too... I had to discuss with them to get another room!
Breakfast was a disaster, everything what should be warm, was cold, have had the worst coffee of my life, and I travel the world since long time. It was filter coffee, after asking to get instead a coffee of the professional machine which were standing there, they said I have to pay for it, very funny. The coffee was broun water with a slight taste of…, maybe coffee. Very disappointing stay with a very disappointing lady in the front desk.

Perfect hotel, very close to the center, tram noise, which is however specified in the description when booking, is not as loud as many write. Rich breakfast, more salty than sweet, but still rich and with typical dishes. The hotel facilities are great, from the bathroom in the common room (the women's has hand cream and saves free briefs), to the possibility of drinking water in the lobby. Breakfast room in the lobby that absolutely does not bother. The rooms with the right size, minibar kettle with some herbal tea and instant coffee, there is no minibar, warm room, a large closet, spotless bathroom. Wifi velocissimo.Perse to improve the soundproofing, but otherwise all great.
The transfer from the airport to the hotel late at night was TOP, the driver, Boris a young boy was polite and very kind, worrying if we had eaten, that otherwise he would take us to the first open fast food, which is much appreciated and not at all obvious, considering that it is a transfer service so not obliged to make a detour. I would definitely return to this hotel for a second visit to the city , for all the small details I could find.

First we get there - we are absolutely tired from long drive. We had to carry our bags 1 flight of stairs up to reception . Then Another long flight of stairs - NO LIFT and at reception they do not offer any help. We checked in our room the toilet smelled bad. We asked if we could move they said no. We asked about Day trip the guy just said it's expensive! Anyway he said will ask housekeeper to check the toilet. When we got back toilet smelled better. Then you see this note in the bathroom that if you tear the towels or it has make up stains etc you will be charged! Well....what do you know our towels were ripped. So if they charged you would think they replace it. next day our toilet smelled so bad you could hardly use it comfortably. The location is so so....I'm sure you could get better location and service for the price you pay. It is noisy as it's by the side of road so you hear the traffic tram etc but they do give you a ear peice. Not much help! Will not recommend this place to anyone. Only 1 guy not sure if he was the bartender was helpful. I wouldn't have minded walking up all those stairs if at least they had nice friendly staff .

Hotel was about a 20 minute walk from the Zagreb bus station and fairly easy to find despite being a little hidden down a short alley.
The staff were friendly and check in was efficient.
The first sign of an issue was when we got to our room. The door was wide open with a large fan inside. Once we got in we realised why - the air conditioning was not working. During the time we went the weather was hot and around 30 degrees. This meant that the room was very hot with the fan just blowing hot air around. The room was very small and there was a ceiling window that I opened but this let in the noise from the street. There was a notice about earplugs so this is something the management know about. When we went to reception on the way out to a restaurant we asked for another room or for the air conditioning to be fixed the person said "it sometimes needs resetting I will do it while you are out". When we returned he said that he was sorry but it was broken and the hotel full but offered us a discount (we would have preferred a working air conditioning unit!). When we looked at Trip Adviser reviews we realised that the air conditioning was not working last year and we were not happy that they did not mention this when we booked the hotel. We got little sleep between the heat, noise of the fan and noise from the street. Breakfast was ok, buffet style so there was a good choice. We did get 20% discount but I would not stay in this hotel again and certainly do not recommend it to anyone.

I really appreciated the receptionist "Ivan" help and kindness. Thank you !
The hotel has a great location in the center (5 min walking distance from the main square).
It is clean and the lobby is big and nicely decorated. I recommend this hotel!
Hvala ;)

Our stay was incredible! The hotel staff were very helpful and kind. Check-in was fast and easy. The rooms were very clean. Some rooms are on 2 levels so you might find yourself having to climb a little ladder. We had tasty breakfast and some nice coffee in the morning. The hotel is located just 5 minutes' walk from Ban Josip Jelačić Trg and all other major sights, giving it another plus. The hotel was also great value for money when you consider that we booked only a few days in advance. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and I recommend this hotel.

Vancouver, Canada
Is there parking available at the hotel?
Answer from AndreaLike
Zagreb, Croatia
Dear Marc, For the transport from the Pleso airport to the city You can take the Croatia Airlanes bus. A one-way ticket costs 30 kunas (cca 4 euro). Exit at the last stop – Main Bus Station. Enter the tram No. 8 (direction: Mihaljevac) and get off at the 5th stop in Draškovićeva. Just go ahead and raise Your head towards the yellow building located on the right corner. The other option is to take Cammeo Taxi ( they are cheaper) and the price is about 100 kunas (cca 14 euros) The adress is: Vlaška 44, See You soon, Art Hotel Like
