Fantastic place to stay in Zagreb. Irena and staff were so friendly and helpful. Amazing location. Super clean room and all necessary facilities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it. Also, very easy to get to from the central bus and train stations.

We stayed at Rooms Zabreb in Ocotber 2023. We were greeted by Ivan. Ivan and Irena are a lovely couple whoown RZ17. RZ17 was in a great location. The room was very large and spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. Our window looked out on to the main restaurant street. The windows kept the rooms very quiie. The bed was very comfortable. Zagreb was the end of this Croatia trip. We will return next year and stay again to explore more of Croatia. All in all it was a great place to stay. Remember to check your email prior to arrival for the passcode necessary to enter the outside door form th estreet. That door leads to an inner courtyard where the building is located. We also got a ride to the airport from Ivan as well. The taxi drops you off about a 5 minute walk away as they ar eprohibited from going in the area of RZ17. Ivan and irena , as residents, can drive there.

A truly pleasant experience, the hosts made us feel very welcome in Croatia. They provided directions, restaurant recommendations, and held our luggage after checkout. The room was spacious, modern, and perfectly clean. We definitely would Reuther’s. Thanks.

Nice room, very spacious and fully equipped, right in the city centre. Very friendly staff, Irena was precious with all good tips about Zagreb, anytime you need something she gets back to you by phone. Few mosquitos and spiders (even a cockroach) in toilet and on curtains, but the room was clean anyway. A pity having only one toilet roll for 3 days so I had to ask for an extra one, she promptly brought it so not a big issue. It's not a hotel so don't expect room make up or towels replacing. You can't pay by card for your stay, which is a bit of a problem, but you can pay cash either in Euros or Kuna (many places in Zagreb won't accept cards). Location is fantastic, you are just in the heart of the city. Better if you don't have a car though: the nearest parking is 10/15mins walk and that could be a problem if it rains. We also got a parking ticket for parking within white lines (we didn't know they weren't free spaces but residential ones!) so be very careful when parking in Zagreb! Overall a nice experience, we would recommend it!

The place was clean and comfortable. Irena was super helpful with lots of local information, etc. Very centrally located in historic old town area. A bit of confusion upon arriving, but using "pin" code from reservation street-front door opened and we were able to walk in and find everything. Would definitely stay there again. Great value for the price.

We initially checked in for one night. Upon entering the room, we knew that we had a gem, but even then we didn’t realize what a great find this place was until we started waking the city. Rooms Zagreb 17 is close to everything, including easy access to public trams. We liked our accommodations so much that we decided to extend our stay. Due to reservation conflicts, we couldn’t keep the same room. We ended up getting a larger suite upstairs with an even better view, a definite upgrade. Both rooms were fabulous with a nice view overlooking the restaurant and bars district. Don’t worry after closing the windows all sound is cut out, so a person can easily sleep at night. Communication with management was easy with fairly quick responses to texts and emails. The staff were very friendly and informative on places to eat and visit. We really appreciated the suggestion to take the free walking tour (the tour guides work for tips due to complicated Croatian laws). The tour is well worth taking, and the suggestion to take it definitely enhanced our visit to Zagreb. The only suggestion I’d give to management is to have a plumber refit the first room’s restroom wash basin’s drain with an S curve pipe. The straight pipe currently on the sink allows an odor to creep up the drain, unless water is running or the drain hole is covered up. This little faux pas never affected our trip what so ever. It’s just a heads up to management. We loved our stay!

Irena was a superb host. She explained the city to me and gave me helpful suggestions for eating and sightseeing. Room good size and comfy bed. Great central location, close to the square with tram stop to the main bus station. Highly recommend.

Excellent location for our three-day stay in Zagreb. There are a variety of good restaurants right around the corner, the tram stop is a few minutes away and at the same time, the room feels private and quite. Our host (Irena) was friendly, helpful and flexible to accommodate our needs.

People complain about being hard to find - we had no problem, Uber guy dropped us off in front. The entrance is not inspiring, but keep going! We stayed in the first floor apartment which was lovely. Everything you need with tasteful artwork overlooking a lively street. I like the sounds of town, but others may not, though the closed windows do reduce the noise significantly. Perfect location in the heart of Zagreb, this was one of our favorite stays on our two month jaunt through the Balkans. Disappointed we did not meet the famous Irene!

Very, very good service in a beautifully kept old apartment block right in the centre of Old Zagreb. The manager/owner, Irene, went out of her way to help us and provided very interesting history of Croatia and Zagreb. Irene also provided good advice for local cafés and restaurants. The rooms were spotless and looked over a busy vibrant street. Noise could be reduced to almost nil by closing window and switching on the air/con. Thank you.
