I arrived very early in the morning from dubrovnik. The owner (who has a beautiful golden retriever as a mascot and you can see it around) allowed me to leave my bag while I went to discover the city. The place was very comfortable and looks very friendly. It was clean, colorful and the most important: they have hot showers and the beds were very comfortable. The locsitij of the place is good. It is only 20 min by walking to the center and 15 min to the bus station which helps a lot. I totally recommend this place .

This hostel is located very central to town (easy walking distance). We stayed in a 6 bed dorm room and the room was clean, spacious, had air conditioning and big lockers to lock away your belongings /bag. The staff were friendly and helpful! The bathrooms were clean and the showers have been the best we’ve had on the trip so far! Very good hostel 😃

Hostel Chic was an amazing hostel and me and my wife loved all moments of our stay here. We were staying in a private room with private ensuite bathroom and the room felt nothing short of a hotel. Location of the hotel was amazing, with 5 minutes walk to the train station, 10 min Uber to bus station and 5-7 minutes walk to Main square of Zagreb. The staff was extremely amazing and very very helpful and nice. They spoke perfect English and helped us out with a lot of things. The hostel had nice dorms as well which I checked out. Security was great. Decor and the overall atmosphere in common room was very cozy. They have a fridge to store food, coffee machines and cute cafe-style common room where one can cook meals as well. A must stay place for backpackers as well as couples. Very very affordable.

Nice and new hostel in a central location. Comfy beds and big lockers especially! Also, they stored my bags for the day while I explored Zagreb which was a huge help! Loved my 1 night stay there and would definitely stay again. Thanks :)

I emailed the hotel directly for my reservation as I had some queries about my stay. They were fast and responsive in their replies. We arrived early morning and upon our arrival, although it was not check in time yet, the owner quickly get our room ready and allowed us to check in early. Both the owner and Irena were helpful providing info about Plitvice lakes, keeping our luggage at the hostel while we went to split and dubrovnik and always ready with a smile and conversation. The hostel had about 6 rooms, double and twin bedded privates as well as 6 and 8 bedded rooms. We booked the double private room. Room and toilet was clean and cosy with tv in the room. The reception area has a small kitchen area which you can use and has few tables where you can sit. The reception area also has maps, books which you can use. Coffee and tea is available at the kitchen. They also have vending machines for hot and cold drinks. To access the hostel, from the main road, you have to enter a main door which opens to a compound that has he hotel and another building. After 10 or 11pm, the main door will be closed and you can open it only using a pass given by the hostel. You will be given passes to the main door, your room as well as reception so it's pretty secure. The reception closes at 10pm, so if you are arriving after that, you have to alert them , otherwise, you will not be able to enter the main door. The hostel is about 5 mins walk from the train station, 10-15 mins walk from the bus station and about 7 mins walk to the main part of the town and the square. It's a nice walk with shops, cafes and garden. We enjoyed our stay at hostel chic, not only with the cosy place but with the staff who's always helpful, helping with a smile.
