It is a good location the rooms are clean the breakfast was okay but the bathroom are down the hall away from the room and customer service was terrible. The owner was very judgemental and not able to smile he has very sting views on people who may want to have a drink in your hotel. We had two rooms for two nights then we were not told we had to move rooms for our third night so while we were out the staff packed up our bags and moved all of our stuff into a different room.
When we arrived, we were met by a very nice man who notified us that the woman who owned Studio Kairos had to leave, so he had a room for us at his B&B next door. We spent the night at his place, which was perfectly fine, but the room was very, very small. Even though we did not end up staying at Studio Kairos, I would probably choose someplace closer to the center of town next time.
I stayed here twice in August and thought it was great. I got a really warm welcome from Danielle and was allocated the Writer's Room on both occasions. It was perfect for me. All the rooms have a theme and are decorated with vintage style items and pictures...I really appreciate that kind of thing. The room was clean with all mod cons. The breakfast (prepared by Valentina and Danielle) was absolutely delicious, but more than that it was just so warm and welcoming. Studio Kairos is a short walk from the city centre and just across the road from a tram that goes to the centre, if you don't feel like walking. I would definitely stay here again if I were in town.
Great stay, very helpful staff, short walk into the city, convenient amenities nearby. Transport just across the street from the b and b. Clean environment and great breakfast. Would not hesitate to stay again.
Very easy to reach, by car or public transport. Each room has a theme and is nicely decorated with vintage objects illustrating the chosen universe and other ones specially designed for the purpuse. Equiped with single or double bed, each room is comfortable and very well isolated. The breakfast is generously composed with various and delicious local products, freshly bought at the market and served at the time which is convenient for the guest. Eggs are being prepared just before being served, the way you want them, in the quantity that will please you. This is not surprising considering the gentle and caring welcome that the guests receive all along their stay. As an exprerienced traveller, I highly recommand Studio Kairos: an undoubtedly excellent address that I have already chosen several times.…
We were so well looked after by Danielle and Valentina. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was the best we have had in Croatia and Valentina was so happy to cook for us (eggs, bread, fruit and cereals). The Studio was about a 15 minute walk from the main square in Zagreb. When arriving beware that it is not well sign posted. The entrance by car is a very small archway that is not easily seen. We were navigating by Google maps, had to drive past, then walk back. They will only accept cash :(.
The staff was wonderful and ready to help in any way. They did help by doing our laundry...a large bag for only USD 8. Much better than socks strewn across the bathroom for two days drying. Breakfast was timely with fresh cooked eggs and other items. Heavy smoking outdoors kept me from enjoying the patio but its better out than in. Walk into town was a bit further than I planned, my fault. We took a tram from the train station and it was easy to get to the property. Rooms were comfortable and quiet given that it is on a main street. How did they do that? Overall, I would recommend them as a value alternative to other accommodations.
First impressions very good - nice welcome, friendly staff. 4 rooms only Clean and modern facilities. Able to use the kettle and the fridge. Wifi and air conditioning in the rooms. A small terrace but no view really. 10 mins walk into town Tina very friendly and helpful. and happy to share her knowledge and tips on travelling round the city and things to see. Good breakfast with cereal, yoghurt, eggs available and selection of meats and cheeses. Small dining room meant we all mingled and swapped experiences at the breakfast table . I was told to contact the owner 24/7 if I had any problems. That was reassuring in a strange city.
This small bed and breakfast is a gem. The room we had (music theme) was just right, and above all, clean. Breakfast was delicious. Danijela was very helpful in many ways. This place is recommended for free spirits and not for people wishing to stay in a formal hotel setting.
Stayed here overnight whilst picking up my partner from a late flight. Tina was very helpful and friendly. They accommodated my earlier arrival and also allowed me to park a bit longer after checkout. The room was clean and tidy. Bit noisy from the trams but hey, you're in the centre, and it didn't bother me. The communal areas are very nice and breakfast was good. It was a shame I didn't have longer in the city but I will have to return and would definitely stay here again!
