We had very good experience with this guest house. Vera, the host, is extremely kind and helpful. Nokturno is located in the heart of the city, near famous cathedral, about a 3 minutes walk from the main Ban Jelacic square. Skalinska is narrow street with famous restaurants and souvenirs shops. The building looks a bit old, like all the other...

Vera, the girl managing the hotel, was confused when I showed up out of the blue with no reservation. Tripadvisor showed that rooms were available so I just walked there from the train station without calling first. That is not an advisable strategy in the busy season but it mostly works in Eastern Europe in April. Nonetheless, Zagreb has become...

The perfect place to stay in Zagreb - extremely near to all important sights. Great apartment, with a spacious room, a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful bathroom, all extremely clean, with comfortable furniture. The staff - very helpful, always available, really friendly.

The room was spacious, very nicely decorated and quiet. Internet and satellite TV worked well. The shower is terrific and the bathroom is large. Guest house staff members are very helpful and go out of their way to make one's stay pleasant. This is a great value guest house in an absolutely superb location. Two recommendations however. Central location, in the heart of zagreb near public transport and array of restaurants. Comfortable stay in nicely renovated rooms, spacious and clean bathrooms. From the outside it may not look very impressive but your impression will change once you enter into the room itself. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Everything was perfect just a kettle and some tea/coffee in...

Got the following information: "We are no longer opened as hostel, just apartments. Price is 40 eur for night (2 persons). Regards, Nokturno" Not the end of a great period(apartments now), and the famous restaurant will continue to serve tourists.

the restaurant is simply fantastic, however the hounsing facilities are miserable, avoid as a hostel, but highly recommended as a restaurant. i would like to recommend the owner to close the housing is kinda a bad publicity for the restaurant.
