Detailed Reviews
This was a surprise. I had modest expectations when I booked. But the hotel has a great location (walking distance to the main pedestrian street) and across the street from a main plaza. Easy access.
Rooms were not 5 star but a very comfy and cozy 4 star with all you will need. Heating was great, and the wifi was an amazing fast quality. I had to stream football games and I can assure it was a bliss.
Breakfast is served in the mezzanine and the quality was more than adequate. Staff were extremely helpful at all levels and given the language barrier outside the hotel they facilitated everything for me including finding a good launderette.
Parking was easy outside the hotel for a modest 10 Euro. I would recommend the hotel to everyone without hesitation. You won't pay a fortune and you will get a fantastic service and amenities.

We stayed here for four nights and I would fully recommend it. It seems as if they have been renovating rooms as our looked as if it was brand new. So, the room was great - a good size, nice bathroom and all the facilities you would expect. Breakfast was included in my booking and it was really good - your average continental breakfast, etc. The location is great too with just a short walk to the main boulevard and taxis lining up outside reception for any journeys a bit further afield. Overall, a fine hotel.

Stayed there on a business trip for two nights. not very eyecatching upon arrival, but rooms are superb equipped and with a view. WiFi is strong and location is great for taking an afterwork trip to restaurants, sights and bars. very centrally located. Breakfast is very good, a bit late though but the staff happily packs you a box-to-go when leaving earlier than breakfast time. Would recommend!

We spent only one night in one of the "panorama" rooms so this review is resticted to just those things that left an impression.
The room itself is very large, being divided into three areas: a living area, bedroom and bathroom. Arguably there is also a separate hallway in front of the main door. Note however that only the bathroom is divided from the rest of the room by its own door.
Everything was very clean and mostly comfortable. There was both a shower cabin and a separate bathtub, and a large selection of bathroom toiletries was provided. So far so good.
It was clear that the hotel was not busy at all during the period between Christmas and new year, but despite that, there was an excellent selection of things for breakfast, hot and cold, healthy and not so healthy, together with decent coffee from a machine. One thing I didn't like, though, was that the oranges were just cut into quarters and not peeled. There is a balcony where you could take your breakdast if the weather is a bit warmer.
When we arrived in the room, it was very, very warm to the point of being very uncomfortable. There are two air conditioning controls in different places in the room, and we turned them down to the lowest possible temperature (marked as 10 degrees on the control) and turned the fan speed up to maximum but it made absolutely no difference. There was still warm air coming out of the vents. The only option to cool the room was to open the windows and turn off the aircon. This of course makes it rather noisy, since the hotel is located in the city centre. This lack of effective aircon is a serious problem and given the price of the room, it should be working properly. Other people have complained about this in their reviews; the hotel really needs to do something about it, because it seriously discourages us from coming to this hotel again, especially during the summer - and we are regularly in Bulgaria every summer.
Certain other things could use some attention from the hotel.
The pillows on the bed are filled with some rubbery substance that provides no support and is very uncomfortable to sleep on. There seems to be no alternative available.
There is a minibar in the room with items priced as high as you would expect, and when you check in, they insist that you pay a Lv50. deposit against use of the minibar, which is refunded when you check out - provided that they've checked that you haven't used anything. This is the first hotel where I've ever had to do that.
The staff on reception, especially on checkout, were mechanical and not pleasant to deal with. I don't know if it's just a lack of confidence in English but it really doesn't feel great to deal with such robotic people and it is neither a good first or last contact with the hotel.
The room has a safe and slippers are provided but no bathrobe. Also no iron to iron out the creases in your clothes that they've got from being in a suitcase for hours.
Overall, it's a well located and generally comfortable hotel, but some things need addressing before we would consider paying for anything other than a standard room.

Sofia Central Park Hotel
On July 19, 2022 my wife and I arrived to Sofia on flight from Istanbul.
The Central Park Hotel was chosen by the agency organizing our tours from Sofia, Bulgaria to Belgrade and to Bucharest, Romania.
After taking the late afternoon tour of the area we discovered that the hotel is located in the heart of the city with easy walk to most of the interesting tourist sites.
We had comfortable room listed as the third floor, but actually it was the sixth floor from the ground.
We liked the room and definitely liked the morning included breakfast with variety of fruits, vegetables, juices, cereals, eggs, sausages, etc.
One minor note. There are just few drawers were available and coming from the cruise we left all our clothes in the suitcases for the following two nights stay.
Overall, it was the good place to stay.

The breakfast was superb with eggs/omlettes cooked fresh in request.
We stayed in the 5star les fleures a few times but I honestly prefer this place.

We had a wonderful stay at the Rosslyn Central Park Hotel. We requested a high floor with a view of the National Palace of Culture and we were delighted with our room on the 9th floor. We took the metro from the airport which was easy to navigate and only around £0.80 with the metro stop being very close to the hotel. Check in was very quick and the receptionist was very professional and friendly. Breakfast was good and the staff in there were very happy to help my husband practice his Bulgarian. The hotel is opposite the wonderful gardens of the National Palace of Culture and a few minutes to walk to the pedestrianised area Vitosha with lots of shops & restaurants. We chose this hotel as we have stayed in the Rosslyn hotel in Varna twice and we weren't disappointed.

Spent four nights at this hotel. My first visit and have been coming to Sofia for 15 years. Good clean hotel, with very helpful staff. Food is OK but as you are so near the centre it's more than likely you will eat outside. I have read all the reports and to be honest fit the price and the location you won't get much better

+1
We chose this hotel for the convenient location. It's just a short walk to Vitosha bul., has a metro station right in front and supermarkets and restaurants just around the corner.
We asked for a quiet room and got one out the back. Unfortunately it wasn't very quiet for most of the stay, as the area itself seems to be not very quiet.
The rooms were not very soundproof and we could hear our neighbour's every move.
Our room was nicely sized, the bed was comfy, there was enough storage space and we could use the minibar as a fridge.
The breakfast was a good variety. The staff though not always very polished, was well intentioned and friendly. The levels of English vary quite a lot though.
While we were mostly very satisfied with our hotel, there were a few small things that bothered us.
The blanket was too small for the both of us, so we had to get a second one after 2 nights. One lamp next to my bed would not stop glowing, even after turning it off. That was weird.
There was only one English speaking tv station available and it wasn't even BBC or CNN. Though you could use Youtube and Netflix though.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, in Sofia and the Rosslyn Central Park.
