    Lovely place and host
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the welcome and care of Ludmil. He met us at the railway station for a very reasonable amount and waited 45 minutes when the train was late. His knowledge and advice was very interesting. The place was clean and well-appointed with lovely furniture and a great atmosphere. We appreciated being able to use the washing machine and having use of the well- equipped kitchen. The location is great - close enough to walk everywhere but not busy or noisy. A peaceful and delightful place. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Ludmil!

Wonderful one-night trip at a low price.
The price is very low compared to what is offered and it’s located in the center of Sofia (very easy to visit by foot). The owner is highly friendly and offered directly something to drink when I arrived. He is also answering very fast to your emails (even before arrival) and speaks English very good. He gave me all the necessary explanations and history needed to visit the country. The room and (private) bathroom were perfect and totally quiet despite you are in the center. The breakfast was local, homemade and very nice. —> I use to work now in luxurious hotels in Europe but I have to say that this hotel offers a very good quality/service at a very low price.
    Thank you

    Very very good B&B
When we arrived, he came outside to help us with our luggage. He showed us our room which was very neat (airco and heating in the room)! The bathroom was big enough, towels, soap and shampoo were available. He even gave us a tour in the other rooms and told about the history of the hotel, when the furniture was built, where the name comes from... This is our first stay in Sofia/Bulgaria so he explained us what we could do, where we can eat and what not to do. He recommended us to eat at the 'ale house', very good food! The breakfast was more than enough. During the week and on Saturday he serves a typical Bulgarian breakfast but sadly we had breakfast on a sunday. But it was still very good! We had toast with jam, cheese, ham, yoghurt... The host was one of the nicest people I've met in a bed and breakfast! He helped us really well and gave us a lot of historical information about Bulgaria! If you're in Sofia, you should definitely stay here!

We had a delightful four-night stay. I'm not sure what I can add to the other great reviews—I'm reading them and thinking yes it's spotless and beautifully appointed, yes Ludmil is an amazing host, yes it's a great location, yes the pastries are great (also the Bulgarian yogurt!). Ludmil offers inexpensive airport transfers, and cultural tours so don't bother booking anything else, as he's an avid, enthusiastic and interesting historian. There's a LIDL nearby for snacks & whatnot. It's about a three-minute walk to catch the bus to the airport and there is ample space for luggage.

My partner and I stayed for three nights at Casa Ferrari. It is an attractive flat with nice furniture but the real highlight is definitely the host, Ludmil. He is incredibly friendly and interesting in conversation. He is also very knowledgeable of Bulgaria's history and attractions and very happy to share his insights and recommendations. This was a great example of how staying in a B&B instead of a hotel can make your trip much more interesting

wonderful stay at casa Ferrari. Great location, friendly host and breakfast included. Ludmil was very accommodating and provided a lot of history on Sofia and recommendations on what to do in the area. Also arrived late at night and the b&b provided pick up at the airport (with fee) which was very convenient.

Really great B&B. Really Central location. The host, Ludmil, was great they gave us good recommendations and took us on a tour of the sights further out from the city when our tour was cancelled. He told us a lot about the history of Bulgaria. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was very nice: a different Bulgarian pastry every day! Would recommend staying here.

Very good location. Clean room with private bathroom. Traditional breakfast offered. The most important: a very friendly and supportive owner, Mr Ludmil! He spended time helping us through an unexpected, difficult situation... Strongly recommended!

I enjoyed my stay in this place, it’s simple but clean. I like to walk so the walk from this place to the city center was okay for me, the host was very nice, good conversationalist, knows the history of his country pretty well, he picked me up from the airport with a minimal fee and also prepared breakfast every morning! ‘Twas a pleasant stay indeed!

I had such a good stay here, I miss it already. I am very thankful to Ludmil, the owner and happy I chose this place. Traveling by my self and physically challenged, 60 y/o, it was plausible even for me, to get everywhere by foot. Ludmil gives you a very thorough background of the history of Bulgaria, a taste of the Bulgarian delicacies as part of breakfast and is willing to accommodate you in any way he can. Thank you Ludmil, for making it a home away from home for me. I warmly recommend the place and will come again.
