We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the welcome and care of Ludmil. He met us at the railway station for a very reasonable amount and waited 45 minutes when the train was late. His knowledge and advice was very interesting. The place was clean and well-appointed with lovely furniture and a great atmosphere. We appreciated being able to use the washing machine and having use of the well- equipped kitchen. The location is great - close enough to walk everywhere but not busy or noisy. A peaceful and delightful place. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Ludmil!

Casa Ferrari was a lovely place to stay in Sofia for a couple of nights. The host, Ludmil, is simply one of the very best - he has a great knowledge of the history of Sofia (and Buglaria and the Balkan region in general) and is a great resource for sights to see, how to plan your day, getting a taxi, nice little restaurants in the area, etc. And a great conversationalist in general! He also helped me out with a last minute change of plans. The B&B has a very comfortable common area with cute furniture, there is a kitchen that one can use for basic prep, but Ludmil serves a very nice breakfast that also mixes in a selection of Bulgarian pastries and yogurt. The room itself was spotlessly clean with all the necessities, and very comfortable. The place is in a quiet area of town so there is absolutely no street noise or other disturbance at night, but it is just a few minutes walk from all the tourist areas and attractions. Highly recommend!

We spent two wonderful nights here in July and were greeted very warmly and warmly. The rooms are stylish, cozy and decorated with a lot of nostalgic charm and just super sweet.
Our host welcomed us warmly and told us many interesting things about Sofia and Bulgaria during the authentic breakfast he prepared. Thanks again for taking your time for this!
The rooms are pleasantly cool and provide refreshment and restful sleep even in midsummer.
On top, all major attractions are within walking distance. Very big Recommendation!

Super accommodation with very nice host who can tell a lot about the history of Bulgaria and also likes to give tips for sights and restaurants. We had a great time. The location is also very convenient, the historic center is great to explore on foot or by tram/metro.

We had a delightful four-night stay. I'm not sure what I can add to the other great reviews—I'm reading them and thinking yes it's spotless and beautifully appointed, yes Ludmil is an amazing host, yes it's a great location, yes the pastries are great (also the Bulgarian yogurt!).
Ludmil offers inexpensive airport transfers, and cultural tours so don't bother booking anything else, as he's an avid, enthusiastic and interesting historian.
There's a LIDL nearby for snacks & whatnot. It's about a three-minute walk to catch the bus to the airport and there is ample space for luggage.

Small structure located in a very quiet area, not far from the center (it is possible to take a nice walk). Furthermore, close to the metro, with which it is very simple to reach the city's airport. The rooms are clean and spacious. Maximum availability of the host, Ludmill (who speaks English very well), never tired of giving advice and ensuring assistance to his guests. Breakfast according to the Bulgarian tradition, to try.

wonderful stay at casa Ferrari. Great location, friendly host and breakfast included. Ludmil was very accommodating and provided a lot of history on Sofia and recommendations on what to do in the area. Also arrived late at night and the b&b provided pick up at the airport (with fee) which was very convenient.

The hotel is tucked away a ten minute walk from the subway that starts at Sofia airport & costs under a Euro/dollar to get there. It's a basic B&B in the 1st floor of small apartment block & has a rustic garden at the back. Luckily will give you an extensive history chat over breakfast if wanted & knows just about everything concerned with the history of BY going back to before it became BG! I would recommend his little B&B to people who don't need give star luxury but would enjoy give star Bulgarian hospitality with a breakfast experience like no other!...( BG food & BG history lesson!)

The price is very low compared to what is offered and it’s located in the center of Sofia (very easy to visit by foot).
The owner is highly friendly and offered directly something to drink when I arrived. He is also answering very fast to your emails (even before arrival) and speaks English very good. He gave me all the necessary explanations and history needed to visit the country.
The room and (private) bathroom were perfect and totally quiet despite you are in the center.
The breakfast was local, homemade and very nice.
—> I use to work now in luxurious hotels in Europe but I have to say that this hotel offers a very good quality/service at a very low price.

Really great B&B. Really Central location. The host, Ludmil, was great they gave us good recommendations and took us on a tour of the sights further out from the city when our tour was cancelled. He told us a lot about the history of Bulgaria. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was very nice: a different Bulgarian pastry every day!
Would recommend staying here.
