We spent two nights here. The staff was super nice and they helped us with everything we needed. Since we spent new years here, they left a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room (how cute is that??). They also helped us contact the rental car agency which seemed imposible at first on the 1st of January. The location is...

The hotel has many advantages. It is quiet and well-situated. The breakfast is very good (unless you have very high expectations). Above all the people working there are exceptionally helpful (which is more than you can say of many Bulgarians). However, there are some problems. The breakfast does not start until 8am. There was only a blind over one of...

Spent two nights at Hotel Niky with friends. Plus: Breakfast is rich and really good. You can order omlette if you want. The mattresses are hard, which we liked. Rooms are very clean. Reception is super friendly and helpful. Neutral: Friend did not enjoy the breakfast coffee. I liked it. Regular coffee, imo.

Very good location indeed! The staff are friendly and available to help you any time. The breakfast starts around 8:00 AM that is too late if you have some tour to take at morning but you can ask the front desk to prepare something to take way our start your own breakfast a little early than others. By the way,...

The area encircling Sofia's center seems to have a suburban look (broken pavements, houses have a "not-that-well-maintained" look, ... So I was slightly worried when the taxi was entering the street where the hotel is located. But those worries were quickly gone. The hotel itself is a nice place to stay if you want to lower staying costs and yet...

We stayed at the Niky in September- 2 couples. Good value hotel, clean, comfortable but fairly basic room.Quiet and in a good location. Good breakfast and very friendly, helpful staff. Good restaurant - all in all would be happy to stay there again and to recommend.

Friendly and helpful front desk, good breakfast, an excellent night's sleep, and very handy for the centre of town - what's not to like? The only minor negatives for me were 1) not enough space in the breakfast area (easily manageable in the summer perhaps when sitting outside is an option - not so good on a chilly and damp...

This is a delightful hotel and just the type we like staying in. It is relatively small, very clean, with friendly and helpful staff. The location is great - walking distance to many of the sights. The hotel provides a very full breakfast menu, included in the cost, which kept us going most of the day.
