Basic but nice hotel. Stayed for two nights. Room was nice, comfortable bed and shower was strong, however the door seal must have been weak as it tended to leak a little onto the bathroom floor. Walls/door a little thin so you could hear people in the corridors/the air con in the corridor at night. Still had all I needed for my stay. Breakfast was good just a little expensive but all hotel breakfasts are. Service was good and they let me store my luggage on arrival before check in time which was nice. Good location, not a far walk from the sights/restaurants. Would recommend 😊

I don't know which is the standard standard of a Bulgarian hotel, but compared with hotels in westen Europe, this hotel is good/average. Nice beds, working equipment in the room, (excellent AC) and a more than decent breakfast. The breakfast room is not especially inviting and at rush hours there are more people than seating places. The breakfast room also works as a resturant in the evening serving good food (surprisingly good) but the atmosphere isn't as good as the food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is located a 500m walk on uneven sidewalks from the main metro station on the yellow line that also goes to the main Sofia airport terminal 2, so it is easy to get to the hotel as long as you don't bring too heavy bags. THe hotel does privide aiport transfer for a fee, but the metro is far more cheaper.

My son and I stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed our visit. There was a bit of a mix up with the transfer on arrival at the airport as the pick up area was closed off for some reason, but the hotel made this good by giving us a free return trip at the end of our stay. The room was plenty big enough for the two of us and the staff were always very pleasant and helpful. The location is great as it’s right in the center of the city (so the name is very apt) and only a few minutes walk from Vitosha Blvd which has so many bars and restaurants we were spoilt for choice. If we are in Sofia again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the. Central Hotel again.

Nice hotel fairly close to the centre. Room reasonably sized, beds comfortable. Within walking distance to the metro line. There is a lobby bar however it was closed at the time we were there, if you’re looking for somewhere to eat or drink, turn left out if the front door, then next left at the traffic lights. Keep walking and you’ll find a street full of eateries.

This was a great hotel for a short city break in Sofia. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful for a female solo traveller! My room was spotless and the bed was so very comfortable! I can’t remember having slept so well for such a long time. I stayed in a comfort room which was perfect for my 3 night stay. The hotel is only a short walk into the main town, and although it was situated by a busy road the noise level did not disturb me at all.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. A party of some sort was held in the restaurant and the music was so loud that It was audible several floors up. When I raisd this with the front desk reception, they showed no Concern whatsoever. In addition, the shower did not work properly, and the noise of the air conditioning on the outside competed with that of the party. I would not stay here in the future

The hotel offered fine value for the money. It was clean, the rooms were quiet, great beds, adequate air-conditioning (it was up to 33 degrees in the daytime), and a friendly and very helpful staff. No CNN or BBC news on the TV however. There was one very unfortunate incident though that was very unfortunate and the reason why I am only giving 4, and not 5 stars; We were at the front desk one afternoon when the door to the manager's office flew open. The manager came out and really flew into the poor woman who was in the process of booking a restaurant for me. I mean, this guy was really angry. I don't know what the problem was - Wi-Fi on the 3rd floor or something - but that doesn't matter. The manager should NEVER EVER treat the personale like that in front of the hotel's guests. It was so disrespectful and obviously very humiliating for her. So Mr. Manager, get your act together and learn how to treat staff. Without them, you are nothing. And to the good people working the front desk, thanks to you all for everything.

17 Sept No service available. There was a private reception in the restaurant so no service for the regular customers. We try to get 4 empty glasses from the unoccupied bar and the receptionist treated my wife like rutted fish it was so vulgaire that I will never set foot in one of your establishment here in Bulgaria were we come often or any were else if you do have an hotel and I have send this message to all my friends that also travel a lot in Europe

Great location, short walk from metro. Room was a decent size but shaped a little odd making it feel smaller. Bathroom was tiny. A little difficult to walk. You have to sit on the toilet at an angle. Overall, the room was fairly clean but pretty basic. Breakfast had allot of choices but I didn't really find that much that I liked.
