The staff are really nice, the breakfast was nice and the location is perfect and easily walkeable to most places. If i visited Sofia again, I will choose to stay here again. Really quiet inside of the rooms too. 10/10

I had a fantastic experience at this boutique hotel in the Top-Center. Typically, I would stay in Lozenets, but friends told me that this is a gem of a hotel. On their recommendations,I booked a short stay while recently visiting the city. I liked it so much I have already booked a second stay in the next week when I return to the city. The time were perfect: clean, modern yet with many homey touches. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I especially liked the balcony. It was also spacious and had a small table and two chairs. I had their breakfast, which was very high quality, varied and delicious. The house staff were all very kind and efficient. I highly recommend this excellent hotel.

Just back from six days in Sofia. This boutique hotel is excellent. Room (with a balcony) was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Breakfasts (served each morning in the room because of the pandemic) were excellent. One has to choose from four options the day before, but I forgot to do this twice, and a scrumptious breakfast was still delivered. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and thoroughly competent. Centrally located, this hotel is perfect for exploring downtown Sofia on foot. Highly recommend! When and if I return to Sofia, I would be delighted to stay again at the St. George Hotel.

The best thing about the hotel is its location, a few meters from the center, it is the only reason to recommend it. Cleanliness is quite poor, when we arrived there were some pills on the floor near the bed and there they continued for three days. The comforters were narrow and short and the curtains were dirty, off the hook and torn. Simple but correct breakfast.

Stayed for 3 nights in the hotel and was fairly impressed. The room was large and the bed was comfy. Bathroom was ok and the shower was warm. We had a small balcony which was useful as the wife is a smoker!! Breakfast, although not having the greatest choice, was adequate and filled us both up every day. Room was cleaned every day and staff were polite. The hotel is just two streets away from Vitosha Boulevard so there was a great choice of restaurants and bars within close proximity. There was a bar next door to the left and a restaurant to the right.

The pictures on this website seem to show an old hotel from an eariler date, but what what we experienced in September of 2019 was a very trendy, chic boutique hotel with lots of cool amemnities. There was no artwork in the rooms, but instead there were framed wall slots filled with itneresting books providing color. There were about six different ways of lighting the room from a suspended ceiling or from various alcoves. It was the most unusual hotel of our western Balkan trip and it is within a 10 minute walk to Vitosha Boulevard, the car-free promenade with all the shops and restaurants of downtown Sofia. Great breakfast in the price.

Hotel was very worn. Staff was not particularly helpful. Shower small and no hot water and drain was plugged. Great location and good breakfast. Make sure that you are okay with cigarette odor.Nothing more to say or advise.

Nice, clean and basic hotel. Rooms were clean, was really nice having a little balcony to step out onto and have fresh air. Good showers, lots of hot water and water pressure. Decent breakfast and nice to be able to eat outside on the little patio at the back.

The rooms were perfect. Big enough for a short stay. Comfortable beds. Quiet rooms and comfortable beds and bedding. We had a deluxe with a small balcony with table and two chairs. , Refrigerator with stocked minibar. Hot water pot and a couple of teas and coffees in room.Excellent breakfast buffet with a few hot items in steam trays like scrambled eggs and sausage. Wide variety of breads, cheeses. Terrific, helpful staff. We were able to leave our luggage in reception during our last day trip. Walking distance on pedestrian only street to many tourist sites. Elevator to all floors was accessible from a few steps up from reception. Would stay there again and look forward to. By the way, top restaurant Italian/ a Bulgarian fusion restaurant next door (forgot the name). Make a reservation or get there by 7:00. Also a less expensive Italian restaurant around the corner just a block toward the pedestrian street. Staff at reception will help with suggestions.
