We only visited Moreni for Lunch and had a lovely afternoon in the Vitosha mountains. The food, service, ambience and staff were really good. The restaurant has stunning views of mountains and beautiful scenery. I had the pumpkin ravioli and my friends had other dishes which were enjoyed. There are plenty of options for vegetarians. The prices are so reasonable especially if you compare this to a similar setting in Austria or Switzerland. We never stayed here overnight but would happily try this in the future. A lovely place 👍🏻

The hotel is overall renovated with nice rooms, but its very noisy. Its over midnight and still a lot of noise. You can hear steps, door openings and toilet flishes from all over.
The food was delicious, a bit expensive.
View is awesome, we had huge balcon.

Warm Inn ideal for a short walk in the Vitosha Massif.
Very convenient and quick access by bus 66 leaving from Sofia is located in front of the Inn. Check-out from the Pension on foot for walks.
Very decent and comfortable room, good bathroom (including bathrobe).
Warm common areas with a rich wood decoration. Beautiful view of the valley. Spa facilities, Jacuzzi etc.
Nice restaurant.
Smiling staff speaking basic English.

Worst employee on reception, ever! Worst managers! I have booked a double room for one night. I have tried, prior to our arrival to call the reception to ask for restaurant availability numerous time with no answer. Eventually they answered to an sms saying that all details can be found on site :). When we arrived we waited a long time to receive the room because the girl on reception desk was chatting on phone and paying no attention to us. Eventually we received one room which was at the lowest floor, stayed for 5 minutes and used one towel to wipe hands after washing and ask the receptionist to change the room to one on a higher floor. They told us we have to pay a difference, which I did not argue, but, on top of it, 20 leva difference for ‘usage of the towel because the manager decided this is the case’. I was astonished, explaining that we can simply switch this towel with one from the new room, but because the receptionist had no knowledge of English we impossible to reach to a common point of view and I had to pay the room difference and also that ‘use of towel’ charge. Because I was pissed of by the total not friendly attitude I asked the manager name to put it here on the review. I did not receive it but later, during the dinner, the receptionist came after us saying they will deduct the 20 leva, abusively taken, from the dinner cost. So eventually, we received the money back but the attitude and total lack of friendly communication and the employee not having anything to do with client services of a usual 4* hotel was hugely disappointing. It was our second time at this hotel but definitely the last. PS. The food is not worst but, definitely, not the best.

Hotel Moreni is located not far from Sofia, but it’s such a great place to simply escape the urban bustle and enjoy some self-care time or enjoy the nature. The beautiful spa, cozy rooms, delicious food and views are amazing. There are also ski slopes next to the hotel which makes it perfect also for winter.

We stayed for a weekend and had the best time - great interior, friendly service, delicious food and adequate prices. The spa is very clean and really nice, the relax zone has a view to the forest. All in all we had a wonderful experience!

The best and fastest escape from the big town. Especially in those hot summer days. You have rooms with the best view and intimacy. It’s like a fancy family hotel where you got treated as a long time no see friend. I recommend to everyone!!! Amazing service, amazing food, the view is outstanding I want to stay here more!

The prices are outrageous and the breakfast is the worst experience at the hotel - it looked like the products were left overs from the breakfast the day before... Very cosy rooms and nice spa whatsoever but the overall experience wasn’t positive.

The first Yellow taxi driver wouldn’t do the drive so we phoned the hotel to check the road was open. They told us there should be no problem getting up the mountain, so we tried again. This time we found a driver prepared to make the journey. It was icy (snowed all day) but we made it. And we were so glad we did!

The hotel is amazing! What a treat! The family room with double sofa bed was so clean, roomy, beautifully decorated, big bathroom, robes and slippers and chocolates for us - no tea bags though… obviously an English thing - and a lovely balcony.

Communication had been excellent before arriving. The breakfast was great. Super fire places with roaring fires in. The whole place was perfect. We will return! The receptionist when we arrived was so friendly (sorry, we can’t remember her name) and answered all our questions. We loved our stay in Bulgaria, what a lovely place to visit.

Only downside was we couldn’t get hot water for the shower in the morning, but we didn’t mention it so can’t complain!!
