I stayed in the hostel in August 2015 for two days. At that time the hostel was new and i believe we were one of the first guests. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable. The receptionist, Elmedin, was extremely helpful during our stay at the hostel. He advised us the places to visit and even showed us some places in the Bascarsija. I really recommend this Hostel to anyone who wants comfortable and affordable accommodation.
This place is located in a nice region (5 min walk to Bascarsija), although the specific spot it is located might be a bit scary/apparently dangerous at night. It is located in an alley , quite hard to find it and dark. Despite this, the room was clean and confortable and the owner is very friendly.
Hostel Mak is situated between several buildings ine center of Sarajevo. This gives you cheap stay and fast access to Old Town, Cathedral, Markale Marketplace and Ferhadija Street, which leads you to most of attractions in downtown Sarajevo. Access to the property is gated. Internet is free and fast, rooms are decent. Overall, worth the money
Right in the center of downtown Sarajevo, near by the old town Bascarija, next to the Roman Catholic Cathedral, all restaurants, sightseeing, shopping, at your hand. Fairly new, I think they opened in July, reasonably priced and well maintained a perfect place to stay. They have three-bed rooms at 90 KM (45 Euro) for all three beds prorated if less than 3 person. Four-bed rooms are 100 KM (50 Euro) for 4 person, prorated if less than 4 person. Kids up to 6 years old free, from 6 to 12 years old 50% discount. Every room has a bathroom, hairdryer, coffee and tea, cable TV and free wi-fi. The front desk is in the small copy center in the front. If you have to do some business prepare and print your presentation this is the right place. Other ways just kick back and enjoy the fact that you can see all on your foot. :)…
