Hotel Michele is a small, discrete and family run boutique hotel located in quiet residential area, Sarajevo city centre. Situated in small narrow Street (which is typical for Sarajevo), few hundred meters from main pedestrian zone and just few minutes from Old Town and all other attractions. Opened in 2006 provides high level quality of accommodation and service. Since then it’s been visited by many famous people who visited Sarajevo such as: Bono Vox with family, Richard Gere, Kevin Spacey, Morgan Freeman, Steve Buscemi, Terence Howard, Michael Moore, James Brolin, etc. If you are looking for a spa, gym, or pool this may not the place to go, but if you want to experience the elegance and soul of old town Sarajevo there is no better hotel in the area! Hotel Michele is pleasing blend of modern and traditional very well combined.Furnished with antique furniture, paintings from famous artists and many other things which would better find their place in some museums gives it a charming appearance and makes you fell cozy and warm.. The staff is English speaking, helpful and friendly and will answer any question. For convenience for our guests we have indoor and outdoor park

We had an apartment which we found a little cold but overall the decor and surroundings were lovely. It is an ideal location for exploring the old town of Sarajevo and on foot. This was our second visit here.

The room was beautiful and SO BIG and they let us check in first thing in the morning too. We had some problems with the water in our bathroom when we first arrived but they quickly corrected the issue. Would recommend.

We stayed at the Hotel Michele for 2 nights when we visited Bosnia for a football match. There were 6 of us spread over 3 rooms. We got a taxi from the airport which cost us 15 euros. Upon arrival we were greeted by very helpful ladies who insisted on carrying our bags in up the stairs (even though we are 6 big men). Reception was equally friendly and efficient and the room was ready on arrival. Room itself was quite old fashioned as was the whole hotel (deliberately I think) but was spotlessly clean. Room was quiet and fairly large, as was the bathroom. We got up for breakfast each morning and this was a nice spread of the usual bread, cold meats, cheeses, fruits and local specialities. There was tea, coffee and juice, and warm egg dishes could be cooked on request. The staff were again lovely and very helpful. Location wise the hotel is a ten minute stroll from the cathedral and centre of Sarajevo. There is a fairly steep hill to negotiate (uphill on way back) so just bare this in mind if you have any issues walking. At end of our stay checkout was again efficient, the bill was correct, and the ladies made us genuinely feel like they had enjoyed us being there. Thank you to all the staff who were great!

Very good hotel, situated ¬600m from the city center. Inside decorated in an antique style, very friendly and helpful staff. Big rooms with all required accessories. A bit cold floors, but this might be because we stayed here in the beginning of October when it's cold during the nights and the heating season starts from 15 of October. Good breakfast, staff offers an omlet of choice. Stayed here for my girlfriend's birthday and the hotel staff made a free present of two bottles of red wine and birthday wishes. Wine was local and tasted really great! Highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is located just outside of the old town. The rooms are spacious and clean. However, smoking is prevalent in Sarajevo and even the non-smoking rooms have a distinct smoke odor. When I contacted the company that arranged for my stay to make certain that we were in a non-smoking room, the representative contacted the hotel. We were in a non-smoking room. The next morning the odor of smoke, very prevalent in the common areas decreased significantly. Clearly, the staff no longer was smoking indoors. Every staff person with whom we came into contact went out of his or her way to make our stay enjoyable.
