Detailed Reviews
This hotel is a great location, right next to the Old town in Sarajevo - you can visit all the main sites in 10 minutes walking. Room was pleasant but the temperature inside was very warm (heating stuck on). Breakfast spread is large but the food quality isn’t great. Would stay again but don’t expect to be wowed by this hotel.

I stayed for a weekend in December and I’m so glad I did. The Hotel is near many of the tourist attraktions as Sebilj fountain, Trebeviç mountain and the cable car, the Sacred Heart Cathedral among other places.
The staff is genuine and helpful and the Breakfast is great 🙏👌😋 please try the traditional coffee ☕️ it’s 👌😋
The only negative thing was the hard bed and the noice outside because of the trams 🚋

The hotel is perfectly located directly outside Old Town so you can head in easily or take main road to avoid it. The breakfast is great with a wide selection served from 8-10. The room was very nice with great shower and lots of plug sockets!
Our only downsides were the lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room and our door banged every time the room next door opened there's.
Great staff who were always happy to help.

If you just want to see the sights and are out all day this place might be fine for you. If you want a place to relax and enjoy as you've done all you want to and just want to relax, this is not the place. I found the room to be unbearable and did not relax at all - tv didn't work, internet didn't work, a perfume that made me sick with allergies, electric shutters that wont stay shut and a tram that shakes the bead every time it goes by, right outside the hotel.

I stayed at Hotel Sana with family (in a suite) and can recommend this hotel for its modern elegance and good service.
Rooms are beautifully appointed, awesome bathroom, great lighting and spacious rooms. Many of the small hotels around Sarajevo old town are looking a bit tired, but this one looks modern and fresh. The room was set up for 4 and this involved a double bed (pictured) plus separate beds for the kids. A nice privacy divider is in the room and dual TVs are available for both areas.
Service was helpful and friendly. Breakfast options were better than I have had at larger hotels in the city.
Location wise, your right next to the old town in 2-3 minutes walk. Close to a supermarket, bakery, money exchange, food and shopping.
The main downside of the hotel is lack of parking at the hotel (a common issue in the old town for hotels) and tight access to get into the hotel with a car. If your flying in and not using a car it wont be a problem. If you do have a car, contact them ahead of time for parking arrangements.
I can thoroughly recommend this hotel, I would not hesitate to stay here again if visiting Sarajevo. One of the best small hotels in the area that I have seen.

Hotel location is perfect for Sarajevo. Bascarsija, where you usually spend time, is within walking distance. When you take the buses departing from the airport, you are a 3-minute walk from the hotel after the last stop. Room cleanliness and breakfast are very good. The only problem is that the TV does not broadcast TRT :) Additionally, before I went, I read that the hotel staff spoke Turkish. I haven't come across anyone who speaks Turkish :). By the way, the staff is very attentive to everything. After leaving the hotel, call a taxi to go to the airport.

Excellent location, practically inside the historic city.
Breakfast with good options and everything very tasty.
Good bathroom with good shower.
Acoustic windows that seal the external yes very well.
Bathrobes are not soft.
The room is small for furniture, the example of the chair that occupies the passage between the table and the bed.
The air conditioning condenses and stays hanging on the carpet in front of the bathroom, even so the room had a bad smell of wet carpet.
The roof of the room, over the bed, has a black plastic that gives a strange feeling... looks like a mirror that is not a mirror.
The price is high for what it offers.

This was the perfect hotel for our stay in Sarajevo. The location is fabulous. We were able to walk to everything on our list. The room was clean and comfortable with lots of storage areas. The breakfast buffet was amazing. But what made our stay so enjoyable was the incredible staff. Everyone who worked at Hotel Sana seemed to go out of their way to make our visit special. They helped with directions, dinner reservations, and suggestions for areas of interest. We were even given a picnic breakfast on our last day since we had to leave at 4:00am for our flight. Highly recommend. The staff makes Hotel Sana a special place.

This is an amazing hotel to stay in. Great location in the old town which means you can walk everywhere so don’t have to worry about taxis etc.
The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are extremely clean.
When I return to Bosnia I won’t be looking at another hotels.

This is a modern hotel, by Balkans standards, and conveniently located near the city center. It is walkable to the market area, although the sidewalks are narrow and a bit difficult to navigate. The hotel sits off the street and might be easy to overlook as you drive by. The rooms are comfortable and the complimentary breakfast is fine.
