Great Hotel in Sarajevo A great 4-star hotel in the heart of Sarajevo. Rooms are clean and large with large showers. Amenities include shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. They have a lovely dry sauna that you can request with shower room and heated lounger. Complimentary breakfast includes bakery items, sausages, eggs, rice, vegetarian options, cold meats and cheeses and cereals. The hotel is a short walk from Old Town and the staff were very nice and accommodating.
Our stay in Bosnia would not be complete if we will not put into highlight the place we stayed for 5 days. The hospitable staff and owner, Mustafa and Delila, made sure we had clean room and sumptous breakfast. Everytime we got home at night our room is clean with new towels folded in our bed. The buffet breakfast is a variety to choose, Bosnian cold cuts, hot drinks to juices, breads made from their own bakery, and donuts that you can hardly make a pass. Also our friends got to enjoy the Sauna! What can we ask for? Surely we will comeback to this place in our next visit!
I stayed at this hotel for a week and truly felt like family by the time I left. The hotel is an excellent boutique hotel about a 5-10 minute walk to the Bascarsija, the old Ottoman part of the city. The hotel has about 20 rooms on three floors. The rooms are not numbered like a typical hotel 1, 2, 3, etc. Each room means something to the family. Breakfast is provided and there is something different each day from the kitchen. Housekeeping was great. The hotel transfer was waiting for me upon arrival. I had the pleasure of meeting Selma, the youngest daughter, with whom I spoke every day. She was wonderful (and I'm so sorry I didn't get to say goodbye). The hotel was also able to arrange a tour to Mostar for me. The only con (and it's not the fault of the hotel) is the grueling steep climb up the hill to the hotel. Pace yourself! I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you all so much for everything!!…
A very good stay at Aziza. Comfortable beds, good shower, professional staff. Breakfast is good, but it tended to run out towards the end of the service, so get down early! The single biggest issue is the hill. Aziza is in the centre, but there is a long and rather steep hill to climb to get there. Trying to do this with luggage was a challenge, but it also makes you feel slightly cut off as climbing too and fro means it’s all a bit of an effort. We got used to it over a four day stay to be fair, but if you have health issues or are unfit, I’d say get a taxi! Our tip is to walk to the left of the hill on the side street. It’s much, much quieter traffic wise and makes the hike a lot more pleasant.
Lovely, clean modern hotel close to the old town. Up a slight hill but this makes it convenient for the Yellow Fortress and also helps you to walk off some of the cevapi and ice cream! The staff were very helpful and friendly and always available.
Great location, short walk to the centre. We liked the uphill walk on the way back. The rooms were clean and a good size. Breakfast was disappointing. The quality wasn't great & and the eating area quite small. They had run of of eggs on one morning so no fresh omelette. There was no fresh fruit! Which was quite surprising as it was cherry/strawberry season whilst we were visiting. (the photos on here by management are misleading). The pastries were stale. And the vegetables were slathered in a creamy white sauce. Selma at reception was really helpful.
Amazing place! Very friendly staff and a clean location. Having the sauna just all to myself was awesome. Thank you all for making it such a peacefull and relaxing day for me. I really needed that. I will be back soon 🙃
Where to start? This was perfect stay at the Hotel Aziza from start to finish. Receptionist received us warmly and we felt welcomed. He made sure that our car is parked so that camera surveillance covers it. Rooms are very nice and clean. All of the personnel we met were so friendly all the time. I enjoyed the morning coffee the most as it was one of the best I ever tried. I'm not sure if it's the coffee or the Sarajevo effect but unforgettable experience! Thanks.
We stayed here at the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020 just as the world was going into lock down. The hotel itself was amazing. The staff spoke great English and the breakfast was great. I slept in one day and to my surprise one of the staff members had saved me a plate of food! Will definitely stay here again if in Sarajevo. Rooms are massive with a great size bed.
A great little hotel. Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. A major big point is the fact the breakfast were incredible. So much choice, and for me I ate so much I didn't need any lunch. Breakfast was simply amazing. The hotel is situated on a hill so with lugguge I recommend a taxi if traveling from the tram stop. However overall amazing stay
