Beautiful old home although some of the decor (tables and.chairs in dining areas) is not true to the period. The biggest disappointment was the menu description "skillet fried chicken". We were expecting chicken on the bone like momma fixed. We were served 2 chicken tenders. The gravy on potatoes was a brown gravy. We were expecting a white chicken gravy... More

Lunch menu is excellent; dinner menu is outstanding - especially when pork chops are served! Pleasant atmosphere and excellent service! Best food in the entire area! We haven't spent the night there, but feel sure that would also be fun.

We were visiting for lunch and thought we would have something light. When we arrived, we saw that they offered the buffet style family meal for lunch and we went for it! We had meat loaf, chicken and country ham, and long with several sides. It was absolutely delicious! For dessert we had the banana cake, which was outstanding! Service... More

This was our first visit after getting several recommendations from friends. Every dish was delicious and plentiful. Service was prompt and friendly. The fruit tea as a big hit with my party, something they'd never had before. We left stuffed and satisfied. Will return.

Awesome food. Nice surroundings. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Waitress staff was very nice and attentive. Food was excellent and served family style. Felt at home and very enjoyable experience. Will recommend to friends and family. Nice way to end a hectic week with a nice sit down dinner.

I've eaten here frequently over the years for lunch and dinner and never been disappointed. Sopped here last Thursday with a guest on a gorgeous Kentucky spring day. I had the lunch special--chicken with two vegetables and my guests had chicken salad. Everything was delicious. We saved room for their scrumptious desserts: banana cake with some of their very own... More

Couldn't give a heartier recommendation for this charming little B&B in Auburn, Kentucky. Stayed here for two nights, and wish it could've been more. The staff was welcoming, kind and friendly. Accommodations were country comfy. And the food? Let's just say that if I lived in the area, I'd probably have my own table. Breakfast, which is only served to... More

There's good reason the food at Federal Grove Restaurant has earned the reputation as some of the finest in Southern Kentucky. Last Saturday we brought some friends from Ohio to visit this intriguing old home which dates to 1860 and operates as a B& B with a restaurant serving lunch Thur to Saturday and Dinner on Friday and Saturday. Despite... More
