My family took me to Federal Grove for an anniversary celebration. It was a wonderful experience. The food was outstanding country style fare. It was served family style at the table by a lovely friendly lady. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. It seemed to be a popular place as it was full that night. The grounds were beautiful this fall... My husband and I have lived in Alvaton Ky for 20 years, Federal Grove is with out a doubt the best home cooking restaurant we have ever been to. Every time is better than the last! We have gone for ourselves as a special treat, and taken out of town guests to show off the beautiful place and wonderful atmosphere.... More

A special birthday event drew us to this B&B for the delicious offerings on their family style served luncheon/dinner menu. We were not disappointed. The owner circulated the dining room answering our curious questions about the B&B and our waitress was so accommodating to our needs. The grounds are so inviting. Very reasonably priced, too.

Federal Grove serves amazing family style (food is served at each table in bowls that you serve yourself... as much as you want!) meals. Wonderful Southern cooking.... and hospitality that ensures you will return again and again. Auburn is located a short distance from Bowling Green, Kentucky. Most definitely worth the drive!!! This beautiful historic home is also a bed... More

The food is good and served to your table in bowls and you help your self. At lunch they just serve each person meat and two sides. The setting is nice and relaxing. I can't say enough about how good the food is.

Was with a group of 30 Virginia farmers and ranchers for a Saturday night family style dinner. No complaints from our crew and they are not the easiest people to please. Very pleasant and historic setting in the middle of flat farmlands. Food was well prepared and to our taste excellent. The two best servers in Kentucky (Michelle & Megan)... More

Beautiful old home although some of the decor (tables and.chairs in dining areas) is not true to the period. The biggest disappointment was the menu description "skillet fried chicken". We were expecting chicken on the bone like momma fixed. We were served 2 chicken tenders. The gravy on potatoes was a brown gravy. We were expecting a white chicken gravy... More

Lunch menu is excellent; dinner menu is outstanding - especially when pork chops are served! Pleasant atmosphere and excellent service! Best food in the entire area! We haven't spent the night there, but feel sure that would also be fun.

We were visiting for lunch and thought we would have something light. When we arrived, we saw that they offered the buffet style family meal for lunch and we went for it! We had meat loaf, chicken and country ham, and long with several sides. It was absolutely delicious! For dessert we had the banana cake, which was outstanding! Service... More
