The staff were welcoming when we arrived. We booked a twin room, on arrival we were upgraded to a family room which had a queen size and a single bed. The wifi was fast. The continental breakfast was good especially the cake. Location - excellent for site seeing. About a 5 minute walk to Skanderbeg square. The airport bus is also located off Skanderbeg square. I would stay here again.

I would highly recommend this hotel. I was guest from Serbia and in Oresti Hotel I felt like at home. Staff was very friendly and professional, Hotel has great location, rooms were very clean, elegant and comfortable. Breakfast is little bit basic, but nevertheless it was tasteful and served in very nice space and with a lot of care.

Being our first time to Albania we was looking for an overnight hotel within the city center. Well this ticked all the boxes with its location, cleanliness and friendly helpful staff. We booked a triple room which was adequate but very clean and the breakfast was very very good. Fresh coffee and warm pastries and crepes.

Tour company had booked us into Oresti on our own account the day before the tour started. We had no advance idea about the hotel, only knowing it had a central location. So the tour people arranged for a taxi driver to meet us at the airport and bring us to Oresti, where we had planned to meet the tour rep. He wasn't there, and the Oresti people took over this mini-mess, contacted the tour company, and made everything right. Meanwhile they made us comfortable in the lounge area, provided a nice big plate of cold watermelon (soooo welcome just then), and just made it clear we shouldn't be concerned. Whether the booking was in order or not, we never actually knew, but we did get the room and carried on. This was a Sunday when it seemed much of downtown Tirana was closed. Because of Oresti's terrific central location (as other reviewers all noted), we went out in one direction, came back, went out again, and so on, each time with different suggestions from the staff. What a help that was. Room wasn't fancy but had excellent Wi-Fi, cable TV, many English channels, and everything worked fine. Breakfast buffet the next morning was probably standard for Europe but new to us, and we could have just sat there all day and eaten everything. A good review ought to have something less-good to say, and I struggle to find it, but customers should note the entrance of the hotel is a bit hard to spot and requires being buzzed in, then climbing stairs to the lobby. (I did not see if there is a lift, but if there is, it wasn't obvious.) Water pressure in the shower was a little weak but not something to gripe about, especially as hot water was plentiful. Would I stay at Oresti again? Absolutely. They definitely earned the business.
