Trip'n'Hostel is a great place to stay in Tirana. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. They even helped me bring up my heavy suitcase (23kg) to my room. The hostel breakfast is made to order, so it is very yummy and fresh. Trip'n has so much information available to its guests, such as bus schedules, and tour recommendations. The courtyard is a nice place to chill out, and the hostel even has 3 resident cats which are very cute. Wifi in the rooms could have been better, as it cut in and out a lot, but in the common areas it worked perfectly.

I stayed here the night of 26th Feb ‘20 and what can I say but, for how much I paid (£10), I felt like I received the service of somewhere I paid a hundred pounds for. I checked in rather late, which didn’t bother the staff in the slightest, they were more than happy to accommodate for. The hostel is situated a short walk from the centre, Skandebeg Square (10 minute) which is a straight road the whole way. I was greeted on arrival, offered a free drink, asked if I’d eaten (I hadn’t) to which they were more than happy to show me the best restaurants, they are very knowledgeable about the area and were happy to answer any questions. I was upgraded to a 6 bed dorm for no extra cost as it was a quiet night, the beds were exceptionally clean and the rooms had all the necessities needed. I was offered a free breakfast in the morning (Fried Eggs, French Toast or Omelette), I took the Omelette which was delicious. They were happy to store my bag the following day even though I wasn’t staying that night and upon seeing the unfortunate weather forecast, gave me one of their umbrellas to use for the day. The staff helping out there were very kind and friendly, the bar is very well priced and is well stocked. They were having their new lockers delivered the following morning, so were more than happy to give me the key to the private room, which wasn’t in use, to be able to store all my things. The staff will go above and beyond to assist you, excellent stay in an excellent hostel.

Pros -
• Very kind, friendly, knowledgeable staff.
• Free delicious breakfast.
• Staff go above and beyond for you (more than happy to show you routes to take, roads to avoid, make calls if you need, show you bars, restaurants, absolutely anything that you need!).
• Best price you’ll find in Tirana for quality of service and cleanliness.
• Free Wi-Fi (which is very fast).
• All dorm beds have curtains for extra privacy if needed.

Cons -
•Nothing.
———————————————————

It came to £10 in all for myself but I left a little extra as it didn’t feel right to pay so little for what you get. I would’ve happily paid double considering location, service and cleanliness.

If you’re visiting Tirana, stay here.

I enoyed my time so much at this place that it was hard to leave. I've met a bunch of people there and it was really chilled out. There is a small garden in the back and one in front of the house where you can play ping-pong. Also, there's a lot of local people in the hostel since they are friends with the owners. This is the best hostel I've been to so far.

As soon as I checked into this hostel I knew that I was going to have a wonderful time in Tirana. The gentleman who runs this hostel is so warm, informative, and immediately made sure I had all of the information I needed for my visit. Beyond providing excellent service and a clean, safe place to stay, this is an environment for forming lasting friendships. I was traveling alone and visiting Albania for the first time, and with just two days in Tirana I made friendships which feel like they will last forever. When you walk into the house, the first thing you notice is that everyone is NOT on their phones silently using the wifi as in so many other hostels, they are talking to each other: sharing stories, playing cards, and eating together. This can in large part be attributed to the wonderful tone set by staff who create this kind of ambiance of genuine connection.

I explored the city with new friends, made friends to continue traveling with, and even made plans to visit them back home! The gentleman running the hostel doesn't just run the hostel, he has a mental list running of who is heading where next, and he makes sure to connect you with other people. I was considering visiting Ohrid, and he made a point of finding two other guests who were heading to Ohrid the next day and introducing us. Sure enough, we all traveled together to Ohrid the next day and spent the next several days together; they became good friends of mine. I watched him do the same for guests heading to Valbonna, who also became good friends and traveled together. Aside from being a wonderful hostel, the genuine community of the hostel and the thoughtfulness of the guy who is running the place really set it apart from anywhere else I've ever stayed. And I'm so grateful I came here!

This is one amazing hostel! The staff knows what backpackers want and it shows! Beds are really comfy, each dorm bed had nearby electrical outlets, rooms have AC, wifi is fast and reliable, there are enough showers and toilets, breakfast is also great--- it's freshly made, not just your usual free hostel breakfast of bread and jam! Everyone who works here is extremely friendly and helpful too! It's not a huge hostel, so everyone gets to know each other. the hostel has a really good social atmosphere, it's impossible not to make any friends here. The location is good too, close to the attractions in Tirana and there's a bus stop nearby so it's easy to head elsewhere in the city. i had a little trouble finding the place at first though because Google maps has the location wrong, but it's pretty close to where it says it is. Overall this is a really good hostel and I'd highly recommend it to any backpacker traveling in Tirana. No wonder it's always fully booked. Having said that, you'd better book in advance (book direct to get a 10% discount) if you want to experience what it's like in Trip'n'Hostel!

Trip'n'hostel made my trip to Tirana what it was; as a solo traveller it was easy to meet others in the hostel to hang out and visit the city with. That being said, it was a bit of a party hostel in the evening but quiet hours begin at midnight and after that, no more noise.
I stayed in a 12 bed dorm and there was plenty of room for bags and lockers to keep your valuables. There was also air conditioning which is a must in the Balkans during the summer months.
There are shared bathroom on the same floor as the dorms with 2 toilets, 2 additional sinks and 4 showers, plus 1 full bathroom downstairs. The bathrooms were always kept spotless, my only complaint is that the showers had nowhere private to get (un)dressed except in the shower cubicle itself.
Almost the entire first floor is a common area with plenty of chill out space both inside and out. There's also a peaceful rooftop terraace. There's a kitchen in the basement and a bar on sight with great home brewed beer and rajika available for CHEAP. A cooked breakfast of either an omlette, fried eggs (if I remember correctly) or French toast is available every morning until 11 for those of us who like to sleep in late.
The staff here were all great and they were very helpful in suggesting things to do in Tirana; sometimes they even organized day trips for the whole hostel to take outings together that would be difficult for people to do on their own.
One thing to note is that the hostel was a bit difficult for me to find. It's located in the city center not far from the main square but I came in through the alleyway where the parking lot is and that door isn't marked at all.
Just to note: This hostel also has a few pet cats and tortoises that live in the outside terraces.

The guys at Trip n Hostel are a great team. It's super-friendly, there's good wifi, and brilliant indoor and outdoor space. Breakfasts are top notch, coffee is excellent, and you can get a beer. What's not to love?

I stayed in the private room there, which was light and airy. The bathrooms were simple, but decent and spotlessly clean.

Recommended.

If you have been to Japan's hostel then you would know that everything is thought of meticulously. The dorm beds have curtains for privacy, your own lamp and enough space for your bags and stuff. The deco is shabby chic meets hipster cafe antique and the vibe of the place is fantastic. People just don't leave the place and hang out, great music being played all the time and toilet is big, owner is funny and always asking how you are, surprisingly a big kitchen and you would never knew this place exist from the outside. Location is great in city centre though honestly there isn't much to see in Tirana. I would consider hanging out in this place even if I am not staying there - they do welcome people here for drinks - own bar and draft beers!! It's not a super party hostel, more classy than that and if you want alone time, plenty of lounge space for that or just be in your room. Great breakfast and nice air conditioning which is important for summer.

Hello Gabriel, There is no public transport at that time. Only taxi. You can find one easily at the exit of the bus terminal.

I really liked it but really not sure if it's the right place for a business meeting - there's no meeting room there except for the living room as far as I know.
