Detailed Reviews
Stayed here 2 weeks. Great bonus: 2 min walk to the office :)
Location ideal: within 10 minutes from Skanderbej Square/Centre, 2 (more or less) Irish Pubs (50 mtr and 300 mtr), good restaurants in close walking distance, moneychange/ATM across the road, excellent patisserie across the road.
Staff: extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast very varied with cereals, eggs, fresh fruit, juices, etc, etc. Filling and often with a nice personal touch (like a little cupcake). Room: very well appointed, very comfortable bed / mattress, TV, Satellite /DVD, free internet, A/C and heater. Bathroom with spacious shower, hair dryer, usual toiletries. Although hotel is located at a busy main road with chaotic traffic, rooms are quiet and one gets a great night of sleep. Due to COVID, only very few other guests, but all safety measures were observed (mask etc) Hotel also has a lively garden area. Bar and restaurant were not used due to COVID. Great value for money. Many thanks to all the staff.

+1
Such a delightful boutique hotel in a great location in Tirana.
Our room (1) was massive and located next to the bar and breakfast area. Though we did not hear a thing.
Breakfast was a superb spread of local Albanian fare, freshly prepared to order. A great start to the day.
At time of writing they were not offering other meals, but that doesn’t matter as there is a wide range of restaurants within easy walking.
Would recommend this place highly and will use again when next in Tirana.

This is a fantastic boutique hotel in Tirana. The rooms are nicely appointed, and they're of decent size for Europe. (Note: Do not expect Embassy Suite-sized rooms!). The location is fantastic, and it's walking distance from great restaurants and other attractions.
However, what separates the Hotel Sokrat from other locations is the service. I've got to travel Gluten Free (Celiac), and Bledi at the hotel made sure that the daily breakfast was safe. Beyond that, he got me GF cakes and muffins to round out my meals! The hotel staff did a fantastic job of laundering my clothes (I was there for 10 days), and the service in the rooms was fantastic. Hotel Sokrat is an amazing value, and where I would stay again if I visit Tirana in the future.

This small hotel is almost new. It has excellent facilities and a well trained, helpful staff. It is easy to find if driving into Tirana for the first time and it provides safe off street parking. The breakfast was good, better than many we had in Albania. It is so centrally placed that one can go back and to in the day, making use of the garden or balcony for a rest. We began our Albanian holiday here and chose to book again for our last night in the country. I highly recommend it.
